Reasonable value for money & service okay. 4 seater table was too small for 4 so we asked to be moved to a bigger table. This did not go down well with the waitress who made me feel bad for asking.

I have been here twice in the last month, once with family, the other with friends. The service has been very attentive but not too much. The food has been spot on. The dough balls are lovely!! It was nice and warm inside and a lovely atmosphere! Definitely recommend! I didn't get the name unfortunately, but the lady behind the bar with short brown hair - she is a credit to the team! Very friendly and couldn't have provided better service.

Went to the Fox for dinner this evening with some of my family. Generally speaking this is a reliable choice. The menu is very typical of this style of family pub/restaurant, nothing exciting but reasonable standard fare. Our waitress, Emma, was very personable and joined in the conversation appropriately, service was good with the exception of having to repeat a request for one of our drinks, not, I hasten to add, her fault. Food was delivered in very acceptable time and was exactly as I expected. With a voucher for 30% off main dishes our bill was not exorbitant and we left very satisfied. This has generally been our experience over considerable years of using the restaurant and I would recommend it as a good drop in place for families.

Stopped in for a mid week meal. We had the burger deal and it was brilliant value for money! Our server, Emma was super friendly and attentive. In fact all the staff were friendly and polite, even the girl who brought our drinks over (I think her name was Nicky)!

The bar and waiting staff were very attentive unfortunately the food was not good.We all agreed that the food lacked flavour which left us very disappointed. One of our group was happy with the pizza . All the other meals were off the pub menu.The mixed grill - Chicken was dry and steak was chewy.Lasagne - lacked flavour as did the cowboy burger.The chicken wings had no colour and unappealing.

We come weekly for a cheap and cheerful meal, and are never disappointed with the service, food and atmosphere. Andy is always amazing with quick service and wonderful customer support. Would recommend to anyone.
This evening we visited for a birthday meal, we come often and always enjoy our time here however this evening was a massive let down. We were seated at 4.15, we eventually got our first drinks at around 4.40, we were then able to order our food at around 4.50pm. We ordered a second drink at approx 5.15 We were still waiting for our food and drinks at 5.45. We asked at the bar if our order for drinks had definitly been put through, the lady behind the car informed us 'other people have ordered before you and we were in a queue so would have to wait' fair enough had it been said in a pleasant tone but she was very rude and abrupt about it (Deborah I think was her name, which according to your website is a manager, very disappointing customer service from a manager!) we also complained to your wonderful waiter Andy (who had started his shift and taken over our end of the restaurant) we had been waiting a hour and half since entering the restaurant and still not received our food. He had gone to see what was happening at which point the same lady marched over to the table and with the same tone as at the bar just said 'I've checked the tickets and you ordered 42minutes ago' this simply was not true. As she was there our food started to arrive, hunger took over and I couldn't be bothered to address her tone infront of my grandmother and children, needless to say our whole table felt uncomfortable because of her.. I'm not sure if front of house staff should speak to customers so rudely, all it needed was a friendly sorry for the delay! Thankfully for your establishment Andy who really is a shining star was so wonderdul, apologetic and puts the customers back at ease and in a better mood, you should be very grateful to have him!

Went in for a relaxing meal with my partner but when we got there we were told by a lady that our table had back to back bookings and we only had an hour and a half to dine, understandably as it’s a weekend it’s a lot busier, but we felt like we were rushed and had to order/eat quickly. Despite this, we didn’t have to wait long for our food and drink, and the food tasted delicious, our server Andy was absolutely wonderful, he made sure we were well looked after during our meal and always had a smile whenever he was at our table. Thank you Andy for being such a wonderful server!

We were welcomed and shown to our table quickly. Jess introduced herself as our server and took our drinks order and was happy to give us time to make our selection from the menu. The starters arrived quickly and were fresh and tasty. The mains also arrived quickly and were also freshly cooked. The meats, especially the chicken, were a little dry but otherwise the dishes were good. We had no dessert, so paid our bill and left. Overall a pleasant experience.

Well presented pub, great staff, excellent food, great value for money, amazing atmosphere, always a happy place to be.Also one of the cleanest pubs I've ever been in, the toilets are well kept to a high standard. The car park is great too. From the outside the pub looks very welcoming.I use the fox for date nights, and it never fails to impress. Thanks w.
