Lovely spot by the SS Great Britain to enjoy a leisurely breakfast. Food was pretty good, but I marked them down as the Captain's Breakfast appeared with an additional item which wasn't mentioned on the menu - blood pudding! If I'd known in advance I'd have asked them to not add it - so it was a waste of the item, and it spoilt the enjoyment for me - so a lose, lose situation all round!! This place is directly next to the SS Bristol Boat, and we arrived here wanting a drink and a cake. We found there were plenty of seats, and it was spotless. When I went to order the cakes and pay for them. The server "Nicolette" was my server, and she waved the card machine in front of me. I stated that I needed a couple of minutes to transfer the money, and usually, you would put the card machine down, but instead, she kept it up, being impatient. Visited before going to the museum. We ordered coffee, tea and dessert. Very tasty flat white. The children liked the dessert. Pleasant and polite staff. Clean and comfortable.
