Not a bad pub, little beer garden to sit in the sun which is nice. Food is OK, not great, but better than a lot of other

Impressive Carvery! Food Quality great with a special mention to Rob's roast potatoes. Great value for money and staff were superfriendly and chatty. Very kid-friendly too. This was my first time at the Henbury Arms and I can't wait to go back!

Reserving a table for lunch and being given one right next to the gents - which ABSOLUTELY STANK by the way - was a disappointing start.Carvery was decent, quantity and quality, but had to wait for about 10 mins for someone to emerge to serve. Not sure how long the veg is allowed to sit there before being freshened up though.Cheap and cheerful, 20% discount with M&B shareholder discount.5 ate well, with soft drinks for 58 quid. Can't really complain at that price.Parking: Plenty of availability but not very well signposted from the road

This was a fantastic venue for our choir Christmas celebration. The staff were friendly and efficient, the food was great-cheerful chef doing expert carving and amazing accompaniments. The vegan option was tasty, the choice of starters and desserts was extensive, especially as we were a very large party. The price was very reasonable and we all had a really good night out.

Christmas festive meal booked in advance. We all opted for carvery, had to wait for Yorkshire puddings, then for potatoes, all been given with delay, only some of us were lucky to get pigs in blankets. After all we have received some discount due to the food situation, so fair play for this. It is a place where we are not going back for a meal.

Didn’t have the carvery. I had fish and chips, my friend had chicken and bacon salad. It came out quick and my fish was perfectly cooked. My friend said her dinner was excellent. We are very happy customers.

This was an awful experience for the entire family, firstly restaurant was freezing and as we were midway through eating a manager took away a heater that was keeping the baby in the family warm. So we ended up eating in our coats and jackets. This was not a good start. The carvery was pretty good, however we ordered desserts and waited for at least 30 minutes - we had places to be by this time so we chased them up and fair play to the waiter he went and got them pretty quickly. However when they came out the brownies were rock hard and solid so we went to cancel the order but they still came anyway. No apology offered or refund considering the bill was over £100. Absolute chaos and would not recommend if you want a warm restaurant with a good atmosphere as this most certainly was not!!

Went in for a pizza due to the good price and I was pleasently surprised. The pizza was really good with a nice helping of Nacho cheese. 100% would recommend.Staff were really nice and friendly and food was served pretty quick.I've previously picked up "too good to go" boxes from the carvery which is always nice after working a long day. Considering it's the left overs of the day it's still pretty good food.

Lovely friendly staff. I was greeted by two lovely lady’s called Paige and allison. The food was brilliant and all did an amazing job. Will be visiting again.

Nice and easy to place order at the bar, the food was lush (get some beef I say!), staff were bubbly and really helpful and the carvery guy even gave me an extra Yorkshire… would totally eat there againParking: Easy to find a place to park

We booked 2 days in advance for an carvery and they cancelled an hour before our booking. I am disappointed to say the least!

Basic pub food, decent enough to fill your belly. They do stop serving early around 7.30-8pm as I discovered when staying down the road.

I am regular customer, usually for carvery.Staff are nice and polite in most cases, unfortunately kitchen service staff must work in here as a punishment, (not the first time) can’t even say hi, or what would you like? She serves three of us, it was like pantomime very bad impression. Generally food is ok, and atmosphere isn’t too bad.P.S smile cost nothing

Extremely rude waiter who brought over our tickets for the carvery. Asked a simple question and was met with a sigh , an eye roll and a sarcastic response. Me and my friends were so offended we couldn’t even try to enjoy the dry meat skimpily sliced by the equally blunt lady on the meat counter. Would probably go somewhere else if i was you!
