Bristolian Days Out

The breakfast was not the best but it was cheap, the sausages and bacon could have been cooked a bit longer as it was still a bit

Decided to opt for soup and bread roll - on offer for £2. No wonder! The soup was so watery it was inedible. To make it worse, it was luke warm. Not the standard I would have expected. Very disappointing?.

The restaurant at Ikea Bristol is enormous, when all sections are open. The hot main course menu choice is a little limited, although they always have at least one and sometimes two vegetarian options. Arriving at 12.30 we, perhaps understandably, had to wait a while to be served. The food was fairly wholesome and inexpensive, although it could have done with being hotter. Otherwise all good.

Dire, dirty and a waste of money. Never used to be like this, but it was awful. All coffee is now sachet instant and of a very poor standard indeed

The ikea cooked English breakfast and vegetarian breakfast must be the dullest most tasteless breakfast I’ve ever eaten. It’s cheap and that’s the only good thing about it. Don’t waste your money.

Long queues, no salmon, food cool and only one person on till. Not good.

Visited IKEA Bristol and decided to grab something to eat at its restaurant. The selection was not great and the eating area was relatively small compared to other IKEAs (eg. Nottingham).

Have visited IKEA plenty of times, for bits and bobs over the years. Purchase options are now more limited and much more expensive than before Brexit. Especially in the food section. Disappointing. Decided to try the food, heard it was great. No. It wasn't. In spite of the massive queues that suggested it was worth the wait, it was not. Bland canteen service. Meatballs with no flavour and the worst fish and chips ever. Tried the prawn open sandwich. Limp, soggy prawns. Doubt any Swede would rate, let alone eat, this. Only plus was the Dime cake and drinks. Cheap? Yes. Good? No. Return visit? No.

I recommend pushing to the front of the queue to find out if they have got what food you want, otherwise you can end up queuing for ages and wasting your time. It'll save having a car full of crying grandchildren all the way home. Alternatively they could spend 30 seconds putting I sign up advising the stock issues. But apparently that is too much to expect. As you may be able to tell, I'm a bit annoyed by this!

Absolutely disgusting breakfast at Ikea Sheffield . We were the first customers to eat at 9 am ish and the food was cold, bacon rock hard, hash brown soggy, trays dirty and tasteless sausages. Probably the worst breakfast I have ever eaten. Extremely disappointed.

I came at 5.30pm, there was a queue of people waiting for meatballs to be cooked. When they finally arrived and the staff started serving I was appalled at the sloppy service, food thrown onto the plates, gravy and sauce dripping over the plates. No sense of urgency to cover the backlog of customers waiting. As a retired catering manager I would suggest that the front of house staff have some serious training and for the duty manager to check on their staff to ensure the job is being done correctly. I will not be eating here again. I am a local customer. Thank you

It's IKEA food, you should know what you're getting into.Massive portions of somewhat bland food at a reasonable price, tasty desserts, and lots of drink options with free refills.Limited food options but you get lots of variations in terms of side and toppings:You want your meatballs with mash and gravy? Chips and gravy? Spaghetti and red sauce? Rice? The servers won't bat an eyelash no matter the combo you come up with.Might be difficult to find a seat during peak hours, but there are endless seats.

While waiting in line to get food my niece fainted, it was very intense. The staff were really good and got a first aider quickly, she got her some water and chocolate and helped to make sure she was doing ok. They ended up getting our food and finding us a table and really went above and beyond to help. I wish I got the names but didn’t think in the moment. The first aid lady was a lovely Italian lady and unsure of the other staff members name that got our food for us. Thank you again
