Good selection of beers, service great - always appreciate being asked if I'd like to sample a cask ale before buying. Place is small, quirky and has a good, friendly atmosphere.

Great pub, nice beer, friendly staff.

Incredible pub with unique curved wooden booth. Huge, considered selection of craft beers and real ales. Friendly staff. Reasonable prices.

No food, hence 0Great selection of Keg & Cask.Owned by Good Chemistry Brewery.V Narrow bar so expect being somewhat intimate ?

Food (meaning beer) is great and we were glad to support a pub that has real cask ales. Bartender was courteous but completely disinterested. Funkiest ladies room I've ever seen.

Lovely little pub, great

Superb little pub with plenty of charm, character and a great beer selection from local company Good Chemistry Brewing. The pub itself is narrow with a quirky tram cart style seating area. The publican who was there when we visited (twice in a day) was fantastic, he had great knowledge of the beers, was super friendly and hospitable (he also has an absolute gem of a dog that he might let you meet if you ask nicely). If you are in Bristol pop in for a few beers, it won’t disappoint. Hwyl am nawr ???????.

Imagine you’re strolling down Victoria Street in Bristol and you see the celebration cake centre you pop in have a browse and you treat yourself to a slice, then you build up a thirst for a cold pint to wash it down. Well look no further than 2 yards away as you have the Kings Head next door, which is a delightful boozer; actually it’s encroaching into the top draw arena!!

Great wee pub in Bristol. Good selection of beers, both ask and draft, and friendly helpful staff to boot. If you like your pints in a glass with a handle, don't be afraid to ask!
Good chemistry run pub. Cool space, they’ve not modernised it but instead refreshed a traditional pub space. Very pokey inside, definitely not suitable for large groups. The beer selection is cool, about half is good chemistry beer and the rest is a constantly changing interesting selection.Atmosphere wasn’t buzzing when we visited on a Saturday night at 9pm and I was a bit surprised. Felt like a bit more of an old man pub.

This has always been worth the short walk away from the city centre to experience it’s unique interior, but since it’s been taken over it has the added bonus of serving great beer.It appears to open later in the day, so not suitable for an early pint. When it opens it gets a bit cramped, but that’s kind of the point of this railway carriage of a pub.

So glad this pub reopened. A wonderful museum piece, original fittings and fixtures. Love it. Now with a trendy choice of beers and good music.

What a charming little pub, knowledgeable staff, great decor, great beers, I’ll be back
