Had really quality food here last night, still thinking about the evening the day after, hence the review. Atmosphere was buzzing, the place was packed by 6:30pm, which made it great to have a xmas catch up with some good friends. Had some food I wouldn't expect to find at takeaways Roast Duck, Roast Pork & Char Siu combo, braised chicken in garlic and spring onion. It was so good we ordered more in the end! Worth the trip to explore, if you have a pallet to try new Chinese food!

Food was good. I highly recommend the deep-fried squid. Excellent value

A hidden gem in Bristol. Waiter Ray made our visit more special. With his dry sense of humour, he kept us laughing and well-fed all evening. Some might be put off by his direct manner, but we loved it. He gave insights into the food culture, which improved our choice of what to order and, when we showed interest, wrote our names in Chinese. The food was superb - some unusual and tasty items we hadn't found at other similar restaurants. Definitely one to return to if you want a more authentic Chinese/Hong Kong dining experience.

Place has gone down hill in r cent times. Had a chow mein and fried rice and never been so horrifically sick in my life. Never again.

Price was expensive and for the small portion of food. Food taste was average , not the best compare to other Chinese food in Bristol.Food was quick to serveRather go to little shangai neslonstreet portion there are bigger and worth the price.

Never knew that there was a Chinese restaurant. Was recommended by a friend that the food tasted nice and she wasn't wrong. I enjoyed the food.

The dim sum is best I've had in a long time, the shumai was the best I've ever had and I've had a lot! The lady in the Gucci glasses who served me and my mum was very helpful and friendly, can't wait to come back again. Char sui and crispy duck were both delicious and generous portions.

Probably the best Chinese restaurant food I've ever had and that is supported by the number and diversity of the visitors there. Excellent service as well ??

We were a party of 7 pals on a reunion who have lived/worked in Hong Kong for up to 35 years, some of us with Chinese wives, so can pass an objective opinion. Despite the rather dingy/seedy location this restaurant provided a real reminder of excellent Chinese cuisine that we experienced in Hong Kong. Don’t expect linen table cloths etc - this place is a proper Chinese restaurant as evidenced by plenty of diners from that part of the world. We ‘worked ‘ through the menu with beers and found it good value considering the quality at say £35/head. Having read some previous poor reviews it can only perhaps be that the kitchen staff were having a bad night - we couldn’t fault the food. Recommended.

First Chinese restaurant outside of Asia that I've been to that actually serves authentic food. Totally delicious and definitely worth the price. Waiting time was reasonable given the place was full to the last table, and we ordered quite a few dishes.

Great tasty food. But the small bowl of chips was £6.30 !! Meal for 2 was nearly £60. Far too expensive for what it was. Neighbouring diner had to ask server for some sweet chilli sauce in to go with the spring rolls server was rude to her but bought some over. If you go, one rice is enough for 2 people. And drinks are very pricy. Would have scored better if price was more in line with similar places.Vegetarian options: Yes they are marked veggie but be careful. There’s dishes with oyster sauce labeled veggie.

Lovely Chinese restaurant in the bustling heart of Bristol. Astounding on the flavour front, great to share a meal between a group as well. It’s a good atmosphere. Part of the table rotates, always a plus. If anything a bit pricey.

It is so cold but they reject turn off the air conditioner. They told us we just need to wait 25 minutes for the rice, but as result we waited for more than one hour for all the dishes!!

Lovely welcome and brilliant service. Dont be deceived by the outside it's lovely inside and foot is great! Probably 80% Chinese custom there which says everything about how authentic and excellent it is.
