Ok. Most memorable thing was that the service was very variable depending. Baguette was delicious with sad, limp salad on the side. No napkin offered. Slice of red velvet very dry, but it was 5pm by then.

Don’t recommend you look closely at your cake, you’ll realise how long it’s been on display as it’s gathered dust. Breakfast came out cold and old browning salad. Gone down hill.

Online ordering was simple and the staff where helpful.\\n\\nCan’t say much about the fancy pastries though! I was enticed by the fancy, glamourising eclairs advertised, and received what must have been the runt of the litter in a GCSE food tech class.

Visited here for a cream tea (pre lockdown 2) and it was amazing. I had food intolerances and they were more than happy to help with the choice of sandwiches and make changes that were needed to accommodate me. The waitress was very friendly and helpful.\\nThe price was good value for what you get.\\nThe sandwiches, cakes and drinks were amazing.\\nService was speedy.\\nRestaurant was clean and tidy. Good social distancing measures are in place.\\nCan't wait to visit again when lockdown is finished.

Cakes are not as good as before, slices for cakes gone up in price but down in size. Don't mind paying extra if the cake remains as good or gets better.

In the middle of a huge Mall, surrounded by every sort of shop imaginable. Either shop to your heart's content, or enjoy a coffee and cake (or something similar).

Received a Groupon voucher for afternoon tea for two as a birthday gift went to The Mall Cribbs Causeway today our server was very attentive & polite. Good selection of finger sandwiches, quiche & cakes however I don't understand marmalade offered with the scones!!!

I am really disappointed, this used to be my favourite place to go, I love gateaux! The portion sizes have drastically reduced which wouldn't be so bad only it's just not as nice and the prices do not reflect the smaller size, I actually think it costs more per slice. I did email head office but apparently it's their 'best taste to date' and the portion sizes are 'perfect', guess it doesn't matter what the customers think. Definitely gone downhill which is a shame as it used to be a real treat to visit and the staff are always great.

Absolutely shambles of a place. Wanted a plain scone cream tea. Was told they don't do plain ones. But looking on the menu there they are. Waitress forgot our tea. then when she was told by myself about the tea ile bring it over. I said don't bother now as already finished what we were eating. Avoid at all costs. Over priced place.
