We visited here on a recommendation and we weren’t disappointed!! The menu is excellent offering a lot of different Tapas specialties that you wouldn't normally see on the high street. Excellent service and a beautiful touch of a happy birthday pudding. We are grateful for being told to stop at 6 dishes!! Highly recommend the Sardines on toast, Black pudding and the Aubergines!! Wonderful Spanish atmosphere with light music encouraging conversation!! Thank you for making my wife’s Birthday so special!!

A little gem in Bristol. Delicious and freshly cooked tapas, in an authentic little Spanish restaurant. Service was impeccable, warm welcome, tapas served at a right pace, great for sharing (8 tapas for 4 + breads/dips was amply sufficient). Finished with crusty chouros. Very affordable as well (£20-30 pp including wine). Recommend +++

Absolutely wonderful family run authentic tapas restaurant. We had a wonderful evening here and didn't want to ever leave! The atmosphere is lovely, very homely and beautiful decor. Of course the food was amazing, plenty of vegetarian options and at a very reasonable price. Can't recommend this place enough. Thank you xx

This restaurant is an absolutely little gem! My son has celiac and I am gluten/dairy free and they were truly amazing! Monica was so attentive and friendly, we felt right at home straight away! The food was just divine, you could not ask for anymore from this restaurant, definitely give it a go xx

The food was absolutely amazing, all proper Spanish style dishes, which come out but by bit when it’s ready, true tapas style! I have been here twice now, in the summer and now in December and both times the food was amazing and the owners even lovelier! The two women who own / run the place are so warm and welcoming and create such a lovely atmosphere in the small intimate tapas restaurant! Food, people, décor & atmosphere all 10/10!

My husband and I went to Picaro for the first time last weekend after reading great reviews and fancying some proper tapas. The venue is quite small but really lovely and comfortable. The service was outstanding, nothing was too much trouble and the food was just awesome and great value. Who knew Deep Fried Aubergines could be soooo good. We were booked in for 5.30pm, first to arrive but it soon filled up so obviously making it's mark and popular in the area. I would highly recommend visiting Picaro ASAP. We'll be back soon :-)

A warm welcome, fantastic hosts, great ambience and awesome tapas. I literally cannot fault our experience of dining at Picaro. The hosts were engaging and took time to talk you through the menu. There was a relaxed and comfortable vibe. The food was great and ticked every box. Would highly recommend and we’ll definitely go back
