Very good tacos! The service was not so great, it took a while and they didn’t know that they were out of most ingredients for many of the tacos so it took a few attempts to order.
This pub is a great find if you don't necessarily want the loudness of other establishments. When we went (as a group of 6), we found plenty of seating and the barlady was helpful and the choice of ales kept even my 'only drinking real ale' hubby happy. We also bought a variety of bar snacks, as the munchie set in, which were fabulous. We were hoping to test the menu, but got there too late, but will definitely be gong back, as it looked very tasty! We chanced upon the King William on a very rainy Sunday lunchtime. The pub was very quiet and now do not understand why. The staff were very pleasant and went above and beyond. The Sunday lunch (chicken roast) was very tasty with the best cauliflower cheese I have ever eaten. The whole experience was perfect!
