The staff are great but they ran out of a few items on the menu. Most of the cocktails wasn't available. Thats the main reason we go for cocktails and steak. Which they also ran out of. And it was very cold in there. I had to eat with my coat on.

Visited the cabot circus branch for a family meal. We were a group of 8 including 4 kids. The food was spot on, fresh and well cooked. Our waiter Sergio was amazing he made our day with his attentive service and friendly manners. Shout out to Sergio!

We called in the morning and book a table for 3pm, upon arrival although there was only two of us we were told our table was double booked and we would have to find another place to eat, very poor service as restaurant was less than half full. 1/10

The manager 'Harriet' has no customer service skills. Simply asked if we could sit on an empty table, was told no and "if you don't like it, get out". Also the portion sizes are shocking for the price. I can see now why every other food venue was rammed and this place is half empty.

Not worth the price at all, shocking Rotten veg served to children ..twice. Sticky tables, filthy toilets, baby changing room was disgusting! Only good thing was the lady that looked after

Visited TGIs in Bristol city centre on a busy Saturday so were prepared for the hour or so wait to be seated, although the restaurant was only three quarters full. Had to wait a further 30 mins for our drinks (cokes and lemonades). 2 of us ordered "ultimate" ribs. One was acceptable, the other had barely any meat on. By far the worst ribs I've ever had anywhere. The sides were mediocre. We had to ask for cutlery as none had been provided and finally got the bill after asking 3 times. Will never return

I used to be a frequenter of my local TGI’s in Readingbefore relocating to the South West. The visit to this restaurant in Cabot CircusBristol was my first and my last. The experience was poor from beginning to end. I prebooked our table and upon our arrival the trainee (this is what we were told she was) looked like a rabbit in headlights and despite there being plenty of tables we had to sit and wait whilst they prepared our table. Once sat we were looking forward to ordering some food, but first the drinks. Out of the selection of bottled beers on offer only one was available and this was the only bottle left. Draft beer was not much better with the one we had ordered being off. The same with the cider. Then it came to the food. We ordered from the children’s menus the cheese burger and the chicken strips. Both are supposed to come with chips and a pot of cucumber and pepper. I ordered the quesadilla and my wife a mains portion of chicken bites with a blue cheese sauce. Then the food arrived. The kids cheeseburger looked like it had been cooked by a kid (with no cooking skills) The cheese was burnt around the edges and the burger overdone. The bun was soggy. I’ll get to the chips in a moment. The chicken strips would not have been big enough to feed a mouse. The chips were a joke. They made McDonald’s small fries look like a supersize portion. Oh and the veg pot…..what veg pot? The quesadilla must have been over cooked cause it was tiny and more of a starter than a main and also as dry as a bone. Finally and probably the worse one was my wife’s chicken. The chicken was ok but the lettuce that accompanied the dish looked about a week old and was barely green. It was warm and limp and inedible. The waitress was full of apologies but there’s only so much she could apologise and it should not have fallen upon her to be apologising for what was not her fault. We informed her of our poor experience and she went off to speak to her manager. The manager discounted two bottled beers from our bill. We had only ordered one bottled beer?! TGI’s used to be a place we associated with be a fun and lively place to go and eat with go food and decent portions. What we got though was a dead atmosphere in a half empty restaurant with staff that looked as though they didn’t really want to be there and portions that have shrunk beyond belief. From now on we will be avoiding this restaurant everyday and twice on a Friday!

What a shame! 1st time we’ve been back in around 5years….. definitely won’t be returning, staff were not very attentive, most things (drinks were out of stock) 2 for 1 cocktails were more like mocktails and didn’t have the ones we ordered! Food is seriously bland, ordered chicken sharers and chips which were small portions and tasted microwaved. Atmosphere has gone from when it used to be a vibrant American style restaurant/ bar packed on a weekend- now it’s just a very average fast food outlet with an empty un- stocked bar. Sadly it could be a lot more!

To be fair didn't wait ling for a table but can't say that about our drinks.Twenty minutes still waiting. When they came two of them was wrong. He said oh just have them ill get you the other ones.Nachos weren't the best they tasted stale.Asked for the bill that also took ages. After paying the bill we used the toilet before leaving.Shameful dirty toilets.Stained brown pans that needed bleaching. No loo roll.Awful for restaurant which I told the man gas I left.Wint be returning here

It was very busy so quite noisy but it's a big place so to be expected. The food was nice, took a while to arrive so be patient. Service was quick at taking our order and getting the bill when we had finished.Dietary restrictions: A couple of vegan options. The plant based loaded fries are lovely

Just had a terrible experience here, table was over 1/2 late, when we eventually sat down it took Anouther 3/4 of an hour to take our order. Waitress pen ran out, she came back 3 times to confirm order. We said it was rubbish to the staff and they kind of looked at the floor, didn’t even ask what was wrong. Ordered a medium rare stake and it was nuked. Rubbish service and food

Not the Fridays we are used to going to, we were in Bristol for the evening so figured we would give it a go.The staff seemed uninterested when serving us, it was hard to get someone's attention to refill my drink too.Maybe I'm too loyal to my local Fridays but I would have expected the same experience wherever you went.

Terrible service and quality of food was poor. For instance, some of the food was burnt and some of it was cold. They did replace both and explained that the heating lights had failed, which I get, but don't dish the food and hope we just accept. Also, we ordered two cocktails and was told that we couldn't have them as they had run out of the ingredients, however they still charged us on the bill, until we pointed it out.We spent £150 and expected better.

Visited late afternoon and it was fairly quiet. Seated quickly and drinks order were no problem. Waited nearly 40 mins for our food. Some of our meals were sat waiting for 15 mins or so on the hotplate. When our food arrived 3 of the 5 were lukewarm and the burger was still red in the middle.Staff were good but I wouldnt go back.
