Staff were great, served by Mikolaj. Food was below its usual standard though. Wagyu burger was no better than a standard burger at your local pub, and my partners cheese dipper burger was quite poor, dry cardboard patty and a few chips. Shame because the food is usually good but it’s an expensive meal out now so it’s got to be spot on to be remotely worth it.

We decided to book a table at the Cribbs Causeway TGI’s for my wife’s birthday because she likes the Jack Daniel’s glaced chicken. But on arrival we were told by the manager that we couldn’t have the table that we’d booked in advance because there were only 3 people working there that day and that they were too busy to seat us. The manager took no responsibility for the situation at all and just blamed ‘head office’ for taking the booking. There was no apology or sympathy offered, in fact the manager, whose name was Jack, lacked professionalism and any kind of customer service. So we won’t be going back there ever again.

We booked and paid a £50 deposit for 10 people on New Years Eve. We arrived to chaos. Loads of people waiting around the entrance and queuing at the door. Staff saying it was nightmare and telling us to go elsewhere. Manager Jack agreed. He said 3 staff had resigned a few days before. We were told it would be 2 hours wait for food. I asked for our deposit to be refunded to be told by Jack that he couldn’t do it. He would contact head office and ask it be refunded but I’ve not heard anything yet. Why didn’t we have a call the day before to let us know they were short staffed and would not be able to cope with the number of bookings? We could have arranged to go elsewhere. Shocking, disorganised and very unprofessional. We will never return.

I am a regular TGI goer and have come to this site multiple times and had no issues but today was awful. I precooked a table for my partners birthday when we arrived we were told there was a wait for our table which we waited 15 minutes for when seated we then waited a further 40 minutes in which no orders had still been taken not even for drinks. So 55 minutes with not even a drinks order taken. Terrible service, annoying considering it was my partners birthday meal out aswell... as a regular goer to TGI's I was really disappointed will not be back any time soon.

Reminded why I’ve not been there for years. Limited veggie choice and then not available so had to make another choice ultimately only salad as an option. No hot water for coffee or tea. Over priced, overcooked food that took ages to arrive. Dirty toilets. Sympathy to the servers who had to front up the awfulness.

Our group of 8 people attended the Cribbs causeway restaurant for our evening meal to be greeted by a queue outside. After waiting 20 mins and no communication , I approached who I now know to be Jack to be told that some employees had quit and they were running late of 1 hour for reservations and a further 1 hour wait for food. This wasn’t acceptable as we had further plans in the evening. When I stated that is not our issue he replied with “that’s not our problem” and “we can wait or leave”. Given the treatment of customers, lack of communication (where an email could have been sent to advise customers in advance of the delay), and the shocking fact the restaurant was still issuing deliveroo orders the attitude, language and service was appalling and clearly takings are more important than service. Whilst I can accept the immediate staffing problem is not of their making. The way they conducted the aftermath goes a long way to securing a reliable customer base - the way this was handled was unprofessional, condescending and rude.

We haven’t been to TGI Fridays in a while so we thought it would be a great spot for some lunch, we were sat straight away and the waitress took our order quickly. We decided that me and my dad would share a portion of the house fries, we thought that we would be receiving a decent amount for £5 but what arrived was smaller then the amount of fries that was part of my mum’s meal. We did then ask the waitress if this was the normal size for the price we paid, she said that she didn’t know about the portion sizes but would then find out for us. The waitress never got back to us about it and it looked like she was actively trying to avoid us, even when we asked for the bill she went to get the card machine she seamed to take ages in doing so. I probably won’t be returning to this particular location in any rush.

Amazing staff, Mikoly, who was the man to serve us was absolutely amazing, kind and lovely with great humour. He took the time, remembered names, gave us brilliant service and was an utter delight.

The service was terrible so slow eventually a waitress turned up to take our order and had no pen. Our desserts came out eventually but with no spoons were told they were no spoons how can you eat ice-cream with a fork. Will never go there again spent nearly £200 Not worth £2 let alone £200. Spoilt my Grandsons birthday celebrations

Due to the Christmas holidays restaurant was very busy and full of young kids which was to be expected, service was good table was clean but cutlery was very dirty. Toilet also filthy. We had three main meals two burger and one chicken Gougeon dish, two cokes and two latte coffees that’s all. So when I was presented with a bill for over £80 I was a little surprised. Very very overpriced for a establishment Which is one step up from a Mc Donald’s.

We went for lunch after a cinema visit with the children not having been in this chain restaurant for over 20 years. Firstly, I couldn’t believe how expensive the menu was (especially compared to the other restaurants on offer) however we would take advantage of receiving a kid’s meal free with an adult main course so we thought we would give it a go. My daughter and her friend ordered Brocolli florets as one of the sides to their kid’s meal. Sadly, what they received was a single raw Brocolli floret. They didn’t expect raw uncooked Brocolli as part of their meal. To be fair, the one Linley uncooked and raw floret was replaced with a replacement lonesome floret which looked a bit greener and had been cooked. My main meal which was a salad costing approx £14.00 had 20 jalepenos in it (yes, I counted). Don’t get me wrong, I love spicy food and am partial to jalepeno peppers however 20 in an extremely small salad was just overkill. I get the impression they were a bit short on the other ingredients so chucked the jalepenos in to bulk it up and to ensure that the recipient would suffer from what is commonly known as ‘ring of fire’. The lettuce in the salad looked like it had been retrieved from the kitchen waste bins, kicked around the restaurant floor and then thrown in the bowl. The table, chairs, floor and menus were suspiciously sticky- don’t know why but I have pushed this to the back of my mind as I am scared. Service was ok with the waitress being pleasant. The place was packed with people when we left- why, I just don’t know as it was not an enjoyable or pleasant experience. Don’t waste your money, go elsewhere.

We have booked a table on the 28/12 at 12:30 for 6 adults and 3 children. We arrived on time and have been served half of the drinks and had to wait 10 minutes for the second half. We asked 2 times how long would the food be and we got one answer out of the two times we asked. The food arrived at 1:45. The food was nice. The service was ok. Few more smiles from the waiters would make the experience nice. We asked to talk to the manager at the end. We told her what is written above and her answer was: - it is Christmas so waiting time is longer. We said that we should be told something about it as we have children. They could be serving the children first. She said: - I didn’t have to tell you the service would take longer. - I don’t give waiting time as you take my words for it. - the waiter should have asked us if we wanted the children first - the waiters are briefed the morning on service staff and serving time. We basically had no excuses or apologies whatsoever from the manager. She simply argued the fact that we were complaining! We told her that: - our point is not that it is busy or the waiting time is long. - our point is on briefing staff so they know what to tell us - it is simple and kind to be apologetic as a manager not argumentative - it is normal to let us know what is going on. - we would have been happy with a simple heads up at the beginning with an offer to get the kids food going first. - as a manager her rude and argumentative attitude was not what we wanted to achieve. - she could have simply offered us a drink or an ice cream ball for the kids and all would be fine. Instead she kept on trying to justify herself and tell us that the waiters should have said something! What an appalling management. We then left to pay at the till. Our waiter (not the manager) gave us the bill (£180.20). We asked to the waiter to have something off the bill to which she replies “the manager will not do anything”. Then “Nicole” another waitress started to ask us if we ate everything. To which we answered that she had nothing to do with us and she had to go and stop talking to us. She then pointed her finger at us and called one of us a pr*** and a d***head in front of our children and the customers around looking at the seen. She then started to threaten us “see what happen if you continue waiving your fingers at me”. Another waiter (young man) had to drag Nicole away whilst she was shouting to that waiter: “get the f** out of me”and said to us"watch what happens if you come near me" Our children had to be taken out as they started to be distressed. We then paid in full and left.
