Very warm cosy pub, friendly regulars and a good selection of well priced cask ales. I have to be honest and say I was unfortunately let down by the service when I visited. Young lady behind the bar was rude. The next gent that served me was very cold too, some grunts is all I heard when being served. When putting the card machine in front of me (display out of sight, so couldn't see price) did not say how much the drink cost. Would understand if busy but it was quiet.

Proper pub, can't fault it really!! CAMRA pub, with one of the best ales and ciders selection in Bristol. Really lovely atmosphere, albeit cosy. We didn't find any food, but we enjoyed watching the rugby on their big screen!!

I was lost for words when trying to choose from the proper ales/ciders/or lagers. A very warm welcome. I won't be staying away for such a long time as my last period of absence!!!!

Unbelievably rude when it came to drinking up time! I was here with a lady and I could believe the attitude. It was so bad I’m not coming back ever. Sickening. Don’t bother.
