Amazing range of real ciders, can say anything about the food but they looked good.

23/2/24 - friday afternoon coffee & snackI'm a middle aged guy from London exploring around the docks on a cold dank day. I needed somewhere warm for a coffee and a snack. Is just seen the nearby large Banksy image, looked up Gglmps to find this traditional pub.I arrived at 15:30 to find quite an empty pub, fine. It was warm and welcoming anyway!Within a bunch of local workers came in with colourful language to order beers and shots to warm themselves up. Not a problem, this is a locals' pub! Lots of banter between couples and the workers. There's a lot of building, restoring, boat and road works locally. This is the only pub in the area and is warm!I'm not into cider unfortunately and I'd drink way too much the night before so had to ignore the beers in barrels at the back (including Ferryman (£4) and Otter (£3.80).I had read the rolls were good and ordered one sitting on the counter, a BLT the friendly barlady said. I ordered the coffee with milk (no alternatives unfortunately for my allergy). I paid the £6.50 by card.I used the clean loo and returned to find the coffee waiting for me.I decided to write this review on the spot (I have no deadlines till the return coach to London at 9pm). Unfortunately there is no WiFi so I'm using my generous data although the O2 signal is only two bars. The coffee (£2.50) was good and the BLT roll (£4) was also very good. The pub has events most evenings (see photo of the events board). If you are in this neck of the woods/orchard and partial to a cider or beer this is the place (award winning for cider and scrumpy).

It's just a great pub, especially if you're a cider

A very good selection of natural ciders. Traditional but clean and smart too.

One of the nicest proper pubs in Bristol. Good range of beers, delicious sandwiches and pasties and not over priced.

Lovely pub with cask ales and ciders, had the hot sausage roll as a snack, large and tasty...

A perfect pub, exactly what a traditional pub should be
