kayden please

went in and bought a chocolate brownie and was not up to any kind of standard was dry and had an overpowering taste of something and was extremely dry and service staff were quite unhappy to be serving ??i would like to add that jamil the owner is also a very unpleasant person a (K*ob) and shouldn’t be serving if he is just outright rude.

My partner had breakfast here and was becoming a regular. But his sausage and bacon sandwich was not cooked properly, the lady didn't cook the bacon long enough and normally my partner asks for it to be well done. Well this time he just ate it and went to work by 1:30 he was toeing up. And very sick ? ? such a shame!Obviously wint be back?

Yummy cakes, and the staff are so lovely and friendly. Including going above and beyond to show kindness to my little girl. Highly recommend.

Beautiful sandwich’s! Hot sandwiches are also 10/10. Cakes always look lovely & also sometimes have new things there. Well priced, lovely ladies who work in there. ❤️

Lovely things but was puzzled recently at over £6 for three cakes. I questioned it and the young girl didn't seem to care nor ask what cakes I'd bought when the week before I'd bought a pasty and five cakes for £9. Today my order was wrong and the young girl sighed and back chatted me. I was not impressed at all and WiLL NOT go back with my custom again. However a more mature colleague of hers did apologise for the mix up

Only thing is the lady got my order wrong but she wrote it on the bag.

I visited this bakery once before a few years ago for some donuts and rolls with a friend, there were no prices on any of the baked goods so we were left feeling pressured into buying the overpriced donuts and rolls when we got to the til, which somehow came to £12 for 3 donuts and a single pack of rolls that looked like something we could have just as easily gone and bought from the Tesco further up the high street for much less. The donuts were dry, stale and flavorless while the rolls were slightly stale but mostly ok however it doesn't seem like these were baked in-store.What has prompted me to post this review was a recent experience where I had decided to give this bakery another shot after all these years as I thought surely things can only have gotten better, BOY WAS I WRONG.There is still a lack of pricing on all the baked goods, however there seems to be pricing on everything else, what is there looks ok for the most part however I saw some donuts sweating which didn't look very appetizing, I didn't buy anything this time so I can't comment on the quality of the baked goods. The lady that "helped" me was INCREDIBLY rude, it seemed as though me merely being in the store had somehow served to offend her, me simply asking for the prices of the baked goods which were what drew me into the store from their lovely display in the first place triggered her to berate me over how they don't display their prices for those almost as though they are perhaps just made up on the spot.I was made to feel very awkward and almost as though they wanted me to leave but I still decided to ask for pricing as I genuinely did want to buy something, this again triggered a HOSTILE response and I was even asked if I was going to buy anything at all as though the simple act of inquiring about the price was offensive to them. There was another customer who appeared to be a regular in the store at the same time as me who was treated fine, however me as a new customer was not given the same welcoming treatment, not sure how they intend to build their customer base this way.Overall they were very rude and unwelcoming towards me and as a result I will not be buying from here and instead will be buying from the Greggs across the street who have always been friendly, welcoming and offer a much better value for money as well as seemingly better quality baked goods and customer service which is slightly saddening as I like to support friendly local businesses where I can, but I simply cannot recommend this one.
