We love this eatery . It's comfortable, lovely ambience, great food. Lovely beer.... particularly the Guinness! The staff are pleasant and helpful. This is our go to place whenever we want to eat out. Oh.....and they accept the doggie......who's with us occasionally.Vegetarian options: Well there's lots of fish........haddock, bass, scampi, prawns.Vege burger and vegan burgers.Vege curryPizza

Much improved since a previous visit in 2023. Good choices on menu and our mini pud and coffee came as standard size so we weren't complaining! Worth a visit, plenty of parking spaces.

It was a wake after a funeral. Food and tables very well set out, positioned in the pub but felt quite private too. The food soon went - a testament to the fact we all enjoyed it rather than a lack of it.
Craig is a fantastic landlord and also has superband friendly staff. The White Lion is an excellent place to meet with friends for a drink or dinner...
