A lovely Tuesday afternoon visit yesterday. Parking is easy, quickly seated in an area of my choice. The gentleman who carved my meat was very friendly and polite, and gave decent portions. Sadly no crackling during midweek and the gravy was on the thick side for me, but otherwise a good veggie selection. The beef dripping potatoes are crispy and delicious! The highlight of my visit was June. It's lovely to be served by someone who clearly really enjoys their job. June walks around with a smile permanently on her face, cleaning tables as soon as guests leave, and chatting to families and small children. I was able to pay quickly and easily, including using my 25% off voucher.I will visit again just for those potatoes and June's happy face!Parking: You will need to enter your reg on a tablet when arrived to ensure your parking is validated.

Your carveries are great. Your beers on tap are rubbish. Both of the sit downs in the gents toilets were out of paper. That is not good.

The food was fab, and you get a lot of meat, I always hated macaroni cheese...but I love it from here. Super food, super relaxed atmosphere and lovely attentive staff.... and millennium dome size Yorkshire puffings!!! Love it.

Good value, the place has a good atmosphere although the carvery limits the menu options. It was a nice place to relax and enjoy a family meal without any loud music or noisy bars to distract us.The place is nicely decorated and has a nice warm feel to it.Inside has changed a fair bit over the years, but it is quite tastefully furnished. There is enough space between the tables, unlike some places who seem to try and cram in as many tables as possible.Been twice so far this year and will definitely go again.

To be honest the food was not great. Everything was either overcooked, dry and tasteless. Beef was of poor quality. Dry Yorkshire, black roast potatoes. No pigs in blankets. We were also thrown out 1/2 hour before closing so staff could go home early. We had drinks which either had to be left or drank on the spot. All round disappointing experience. So will not recommend or return.

The beef I had was terrible, it was mostly fat .Took along time to come and ask us if we wonted drinks and I also had to ask if we needed a ticket to go get our carvery.Parking: It's good for parking , but not sure about busier times . Make sure you remember to put in your reg on arrival or you will get fined.

One of the best carveries I ever had. Finally meat that tastes nice, not boiled like taste. And big star for having horseradish sauce ☺️

Very bad experience! From the moment I ordered the meal, the staff was already very impatient when I asked about the price. The food is not hot enough, the hash browns are too hard, there is only one choice of coffee, no latte, cappuccino, mocha? wetherspoon has a lot of good food. I wanted to eat more Yorkshire pudding, but there was no other good food. After waiting for half an hour, no staff came out. When someone came, he said no politely, breakfast finish at 11:00am. There will be no next time!

Meal lovely and choice brill. Choice of beers limited. Decor good. Table service good in restaurant. Had to wait nearly 10 minutes to be shown to table by chap who looked like should still be at school and who had personality of a wet fish. Overall good experience and would visit again.Parking: Register car but not payKid-friendliness: YesWheelchair accessibility: Yes

Newly diagnosed gluten intolerant, the chef on today's lunch shift ( Bradley )went above and beyond to help us work out what was ok to eat, when Google had said there was things that were ok ( cauliflower cheese) they checked and found it was not ok. They happily gave a new plate so we could start again.Brilliant service.
