Food was great, but after quite a delay in taking our order (which was fine) the two courses arrived very quickly, but we were hurried out before finishing our drinks. Arrived at 6pm and hurried out at 7:10pm. That was our fifth visit, but won’t be going back.

We travelled from South Wales, about 1h 30mins. We tried to call ahead numerous times to say we were about 20 minutes late but no answer. Once we arrived we were told that our table had been taken. The chap at the front desk quite nonchalant, faint smell of urine as you walk in. Rang San Carlos, happy to accommodate a table of 6. Obviously not a reflection on the food just the lack of organisation, someone should answer the phone.

I had a fantastic dining experience at Urban Tandoor in Bristol. The food was undeniably delicious, earning a solid 5 stars. However, the service, while friendly, requested us to relocate before a specified time, slightly affecting the overall enjoyment. Nonetheless, I highly recommend it for the exceptional flavors!

Dined here last night with my partner, despite it being late and quite busy, they quickly found us a table. The food was absolutely out of this world, so fresh and full of flavour, and the nicest garlic naan bread I have ever had. Will definitely be returning here on our next visit to Bristol.

We visited the restaurant in Whiteladies Road Bristol for my granddaughter’s 18th birthday and the staff were so lovely in helping her celebrate. She had a free drink and sweet with a candle! The food was very good and served quickly. Although the menu was limited compared to most Indian restaurants it did not hamper our choice. The staff were very attentive and helpful throughout the experience and we will definitely make another visit soon

Three of us dined here for the first time. Very busy, yet the service was fast and friendly. The food was lovely and well presented. If I could add any feedback, the temperature of the food could have been warmer. All in all a great experience which we will do again!

This is the best Indian restaurant I have ever visited. Their food is delicious and every dish is superbly cooked and delicious. Everything on the menu is so tasty. Their restaurant is beautifully decorated with a lovely atmosphere and their take away orders are always delicious too. They have a great name for themselves in Bristol, partly because of their excellent marketing and social media efforts, with some very entertaining Instagram and TikTok content. They are amazing. It's so great to see a business with so much love for what they do and their customers 100% appreciate it!

Absolutely rammed on a Saturday night . An indication of famous restaurant in Bristol. We walked in the restaurant at 730 for our booking and was jam packed at the entrance only . We managed to get in and waited for 5 mins for our table to be ready . Still quick and attentive service from start to finish . Sublime food , quickly served , one of the best restaurants I have ever been in recent times .

Booked for a group on Saturday night, arrived a little before our booked time and found a queue out of the door in the cold. Over the next 45 mins we made it inside where the staff visibly can’t cope when busy. When we asked one girl serving drinks about it was told “it’s nothing to do with me”. One gentleman also waiting commented that he’d put a bad review on Tripadvisor and she flippantly said “go on then”. The final straw was the waiter prioritising larger groups who were behind us in the queue and seating them while others (including us) who had earlier bookings were made to wait. We pointed this out and the staff were rude and dismissive. One of group nipped to the loo and came back saying it was blocked and dirty. We then gave up waiting and went elsewhere. As we left people, also frustrated in the queue and waiting for their bookings, asked us how was our meal, we said we didn’t get to eat as we’d given up waiting. I ate here once before, it was ok (nothing special) but not worth the chaos they created for themselves by overbooking. If you want to go then book for a time they’re not busy and be prepared to wait for poor service.

Had the Chicken Tikka Masala which tasted of chicken in a tin of tomato soup. No tikka flavour to it at all. Also the pilau rice was tasteless. Will never be ordering food from here again. Go if you like food served in Heinz tomato soup, otherwise avoid!

Profit over customer service, cannot comment on food as we did not get to eat, visited 02/12/2023, table booked for8-30, when we arrived there was a queue outside so started to make our way to the door to tell someone we had arrived and was told my all the other people in the queue that they had booked too and were all waiting, after waiting around 20 minutes in the freezing cold we made our way inside where we waited another 30 minutes, in that time no one from the restaurant spoke to us . When asked what was going on was told they were very busy obviously over booked and as I said more interested in PROFIT over customer satisfaction, we walked out and ate somewhere else.

Visited Bristol for my dads birthday and booked Urban Tandoor after seeing all the amazing TikTok’s! Was worried the vibe wouldn’t live up to what I hoped but it was better than I could have expected! Carlos was our waiter and he went above and beyond and acknowledged my dads bday with a few extra surprises which were much appreciated :). My sister wasn’t sure what to have and Carlos recommended the lamb dish which she was reluctant at to have at first but she said it was the best lamb she has ever had! Thank you guys for making our trip memorable, food was amazing as was a great vibe! 10/10!

I ate here on Monday evening, I have been twice in the past and knew it to be a good experience. However I felt that this experience did not meet expectations set by previous visits. The service and food seemed to have gone down hill and the atmosphere was not mirrored with what is implied on their social media. I love following the social media, but feel like maybe they’re spending too much time and effort on socials and have let the food, service and atmosphere slip significantly. I don’t feel like there’s an honest representation of what is portrayed online. There are always so many people who comment on their posts about how much they want to come to the restaurant, but there are better Indian restaurants in Bristol who offer better experience, better tasting food and better customer service.
