We had an english tea, a piece of a fudge chocolate cake, a chicken sandwich and a soft drink.The cake and the sandwich were good, but the chairs and the ronde table close to the window, were not clean.The cashier- girl was messy on msking the bill and at the same time putting the things on the tray.We .Had to ask the cleaner, to clean where we choosed to sit

I didn't get the right slice of caramel shortbread, and there were a couple of tables that needed clearing.The service was very friendly & polite though, and the hot chocolate and snack were delicious. Not a bad price, and unlike their competitors, the toilet was available and clean. So a small moan, but still good enough for 5 stars.

We went for a quick coffee. There was a trainee barista so service was slow, which is fine. The main shop was clean. The toilet, however, was smelly and dirty and therefore unpleasant. The coffee was fine.

I go here quite a few times a month, always order the same thing but depending on who is working depends on what you get, a full cup or half a cup, strong or weak, hot or tepid, its like coffee roulette. The coffee is stronger than other places so if you have a small size cup order a single shot.

In a small town with many coffee shops , Cafe Nero has many good points...it has a relaxing atmosphere, it allows well behaved dogs. Sadly not my little doggo ..too feisty! I love their coffee and sweet treats. But not all days are the same. I recently had a cup of foul tasting watery coffee grounds and another day a foccacio with horrid tasting meat. Staff are always friendly but leaving a new trainee barista on her own to make coffee at a busy timewhile the experienced barista collected used cups was unwise. A half cold, half luke warm savoury pastry was the final straw.

Caffe Nero, wherever they are in the UK, always have the same good quality of coffees, toasties, focaccias, and sandwiches including croissants and cakes ? The staffs are friendly and deliver good service ??The playlists is suitable for the ears of us who are 40++ ???
