Cookies a bit dry. Nice calm atmosphere. When I told the waiter that all the colouring pencils that they provided for children were blunt he just shrugged his shoulders.

The place is very dirty, full of cobwebs and dust, the cake and coffee are acceptable but the dirt disgusts

Great customer service and nice tasting coffee. I think this brand is still owned by tesco.

I’ve enjoyed Harris and Hoole for a quick coffee with friends and some toddler time for quite a few years now. However today I went into the accessible toilet. What the hell has happened? I’ve never seen a dirtier toilet in a chain cafe. I’m talking dust and hair all over the toilet and basin, suggesting neither had been wiped for a matter of weeks. I didn’t investigate any further by looking in the ladies or men’s loos, but that doesn’t matter really as many people have to use the accessible toilet, and it was definitely not closed off in any way. Very, very weird. Coffee was fine but after the loo I wondered about kitchen hygiene a bit too!

Very friendly staff, nice ambiance, good coffee, fresh croissants, good service. Altogether very nice ...... except parts of the curlstomer area are really grubby, dusty and badly in need of a clean, eg skirting, floor edges and very dusty low level shelving.

was met by a really kind barista today who offered me a cold drink of water and an iced coffee when i entered the shop in tears. he was really patient and friendly, told me to sit down and brought over the drink to me. i immediately felt at ease: a small gesture like that goes such a long way - i can’t thank both baristas enough for their kindness

It's a trendy coffee shop. I had a bacon roll and a oat milk latte. Both very nice. The WiFi was horrendous getting into, but that might be me. In the end I used my phone as a hotspot. Very convenient spot.on Amersham high street.

A great place to chill with a carefully-crafted coffee in a very informal, relaxed atmosphere. DOG FRIENDLY! They LOVE having your furries come along, and will probably make a fuss of the pup (pro tip: ask for a puppachino) and have a chat with you about your fur-baby.Good food, too! I especially recommend the breakfast wrap.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access

Sam is the best thing about this place - he’s always friendly, but also always funny as well! He makes an effort every time we see him to be welcoming, and that makes a huge difference. The coffee is great too, and the pastries are the best around. Throw in the comfy seats and you’ve got the perfect coffee shop!

I live locally and I’ve been coming to Harris & Hoole regularly for about a year and a half - it’s now my favourite place for coffee and pastries on the high street! Noticed a really impressive improvement in service, staff, hours, and food lately - special shout out to Sam for being so friendly and attentive! Huge thanks to the team for working so hard!
