“A thoroughly good place to enjoy a high quality relaxed meal. Not a huge menu - which is a good thing, everything is cooked to order and great quality.”

“The most kindest people. We where let down on a B&B and stumbled upon this place. The reception we received was unbelievable. Although it’s no longer a B&B they took pity on us and offered us their old room. Not only that but one of the ladies dropped us off to our family party in the next town. Later that night when we returned we had a drink with the lovely chap who owned the place whilst listening to the acoustic band who where also fabulous. I can’t express how overwhelmed I was at the incredible hospitality of The Red Lion. What a wonderful place run by wonderful people. Thank you so very much xx”

“Wonderful pub in a really pretty location opposite a cricket pitch. We had a great lunch for a family get together with 12 people. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. They catered brilliantly for my coeliac daughter. They have a range of gluten free options”
