Great friendly service, wonderful food at good price. My only gripe is the loos, don't run out of loo paper or hand towels as they're kept in the room outside of the cubicle. I'm disabled so it would have been difficult and awkward for me to mess about like that. There's also no drop down handles either side of the loo so some people may end up having pan accident because they wouldn't be able to 'go'. Plus the loo is very low down which is not good. If you're not disabled I totally recommend this pub restaurant, we'll be going back again. I'll be keeping a Shewee in the car just in case ?

A delicious and hearty Sunday roast in a cosy village pub, on a wet winter Sunday afternoon. A hidden gem. Good selection of wine & beer. Real hub of the village.

A lovely country pub! The landlady was absolutely great. Came out to the garden to see if we needed refills and brought drinks to the table and was very friendly and efficient.
Lovely little pub located in the tiny village of Hyde Heath, just across from the small common. A set of tables and chairs affords a lovely outdoor location for enjoying a cool beverage on a hot day! The service was delightful, the young barmaid extremely helpful and friendly, and the servings were generous! At least the nachos were, which is what we ordered. I am hoping to return and try the fish and chips.
