Very impressed. The food was all brilliant. Spice levels bang-on. Good service. And housed in a lovely building. But that worn out grubby carpet on the stairs really lets it down.

Worst food we've ever had! Never in my life have I tasted a super sweet matar paneer in a coconut based gravy! Paneer tikka starter was even worse, rubbery and salty. Only the papadom was decent. Waste of money. Will never recommend this to anyone.

Run of the mill pastey indian food.Very dated premises, quite grimey and dirty looking inside - stuck in the 70's along with faded carpets, tiny tables and generally not well maintained.I dread to think what the kitchen looks like.Avoid.

We got a takeaway from Desire and it was fantastic! Not only was the food excellent (Chicken Korma & Chicken Tikka Masala with rice, bhajis and naans), but they also threw in some poppadums for us which were fab. Best part of it all, was it was Sunday night when we ordered, and we'd run out of bin bags (unrelated issue) and the shops were shut. So I left them a message in the delivery notes to say if they happened to have any spare we'd love it if they threw one in for us... and they did!! What great sports. Love that - went over and above to provide excellent customer service, made our evening and left us with a story to tell. We will absolutely be going back to eat in or get takeaway, and we highly recommend them!
