“As usual we had a great experince at the Woolpack. We had the set lunch menu which was lovely and good value for money. Our server Kate Martin was friendly and very efficient. The food prepared by Mo the chef was excellent and probably the best pub lunch we have had in a long time.”

“I came here for lunch with family on a Thursday afternoon so the pub was quite quiet at the time which is lucky because there aren't a lot of tables in the small space that they have. Service was good; we were made to feel welcome and checked on regularly. We had the bread sharing board to start with which came with olives, homemade focaccia and a delicious butter with sun-dried tomato in it. I went for the falafel 'Po Boy' which was basically an open sandwich served with chips. I found that it was impossible to actually eat as a sandwich though so ended up leaving half the bun. The falafel was tasty but fell apart as soon as you cut/bit into it but the fries were crispy and perfectly seasoned. I'd say the food was all fairly priced and the traditional interior makes it an inviting pub for lunch or dinner.”
