kitchen started at 06.20, so talking ( loudly ) then the extractor fans started at 06.30, i wont accept that room again. Apart from that had a great stay.Very friendly well presented staff in a really nice atmosphere. I would definitely stay again.

Lovely. Great size bathroom. Floorboards really creaky but to be expected in an old building. Breakfast was great and the lady who dealt with us throughout our visit was really efficient.Ps - no section to do this but I just want to add one negative - from the time I booked to today - the day after checking out, I received 10 emails about this booking. Dont need that much communication

Very nice breakfast although no cereal. Beds badly made so was bed in room No 4. Beds very untidy looking and bottom sheet not pulled. Breakfast area had debris on carpet from night before did not get hoovered for breakfast clients. Crumbs on table from night before. Not acceptable. Batter on fish fell apart so could not eat the fish. Very overpriced and sloppy in places.Rooms: Badly made beds.

Everything was great. Very friendly staff room was a fantastic size and bed was comfy. The room was VERY warm. Luckily their was a fan as in the night it was like a sauna. As there is no one available during the night it would be good if there was a mini fridge with water as we were very thirsty and had one way of accessing drinking water until the bar opened for breakfast. Other than that it was a great stay and we would like to return

Excellent rooms, and facilities. Shower worked without being propped into position with a towel. Loo seat was secure and safe. Extractor fans worked. I only mention these as other accommodation always seems lacking in a bit of routine maintenance.Well done and thank you.Friendly, polite and helpful staff... all of them.Superb quality evening meal and excellent breakfast, with well sourced produce.Rooms: Clean, comfy well maintained.Food & drinks: Excellent evening meal and breakfast of well sourced produce

A fantastic place to have a lovely lunch and well overdue catch up with good friends. Excellent food. Appreciated the honesty of the waitress when our desserts were forgotten. Will definitely visit again.

We had one night stay and ate in restaurant, highly recommend. The staff were very attentive from arrival and in bar and restaurant. Would stay again as the atmosphere was superb and a very busy bar early evening which was great
