I have been using Bamboo for over 10years. I loved this take away, in the 10years I only complained once and management apologised. Since coming out of lockdown Bamboo is not the same. A couple of months ago I ordered my usual takeaway from here. It was when we had the veg shortage, I got home and there were no vegetables and the food had no taste. On Saturday 15th April, we decided to give them one more try. The food was more or less the same as last time, we counted 3 thin slices of carrot pieces in the whole portion of pork fried rice, no peas or chilli. There were big chunks of pork with fat on it.The Singapore noodles had no taste we counted 2 shrimps with about 4 thin slices of carrot pieces. The prawn balls batter was very dark in colour like it had been fried in dirty oil, they had no taste to them. The price of my food order has gone down also, I’m assuming the price reflects the quality of food and cooking. Very sorry Bamboo I really tried to support you. Thank you for the previous wonderful years of food service. I can no longer justify giving you my hardworking money for the very low standards of food your takeaway service is producing. Myself and family will not be returning ?

Ordered a Meal for One and spring roll, very disappointing. Tasteless, no seasoning at all. It was hot and cooked to order but with no flavour. Won’t be going back.

Ordered over the phone for collection, upon arriving arrival there was no one on the front desk, could see into the kitchen and ‘staff’ had no aprons on, headphones in there ears, all looked unprofessional. Eventually someone came, zero customer service , not even an hello. Onto the food, one word, dreadful. Chips = Tasted solely of oil , threw in the bin. Prawn curry = Tasteless, threw in the bin. Ribs = see picture attached an make your own mind up. Won’t be returning.

Used the bamboo years ago when they had the resteraunt and disco above,it was one of my all time favorite chinese. Now one of the worst currys sweet and sickly chow mein no taste misses had chicken omelette which was vile chips deffinately reheated the only good thing was the pancack rolls. 2 out of 10 for me.

I ordered about an hour ago satay prawns on skewers and they was just about ok and my house special chow mein looked a mess and was inedible and my rice was like it was microwave in a cardboard box cause you can smell and taste it. Try to ring but closed.

Just got a Chinese from here tonight new years eve and as the phone was busy. We decided to drive. And ordered and was out within 25minutes. Brilliant food fantastic people and drove 15 minutes home and still hot. Been going here for years. Thanks again for a nice meal.
