Very large well decorated pub with lots of screens, some very large for sport but the real star here is the food. You wouldn't expect a pub close to the town centre to offer such incredible food at a very good price. All courtesy of Chef Rob who takes such pride in his food, all prepared in house. We opted for the Argentinian t bone steaks, cooked to perfection. Breaded whitebait and sticky ribs provided our starter, incredible. Even the coleslaw is made in the kitchen. Cannot recomend enough. The Sunday roasts are supposed to be just as impressive, will be tasting these very soon.

Lovely staff (Chase).Excellent grub, remarkably well priced.
We were going to take the kids to a safe wetherspoons for lunch. Accidentally ended up here. So glad!! Chase on the bar was lovely. Welcoming and friendly. Reassuring to a family risking a nicer place with children. And they had board games, which made the wait for food so easy. The food was great too. Good lagers on tap. Happy bellys all round.

We chose a seat in the front bar area. The barman made us welcome. He took our order and returned with our drinks. I had a fish pie and it was delicious. Will definitely revisit.

Fantastic staff and service, exceptionally polite, food is always of the highest standard and would 100% recommend Weavers for not only the food but the family friendly atmosphere aswell!!
