Disappointed that bento boxes only offered mon-thur. Automatically adding a 10% service charge to a single diner's order is a bit cheeky, especially when the card machine prompts for additional discretional tipping.Food was okay.

What a RIP OFF, visited this restaurant for the first time. After reading the reviews it sounded really good. What a major disappointment. We went for dinner 2 adults and 3 children. The service was flat line, we ordered a mixture of dishes as we wanted to try a bit of everything. When we asked for small bowels the look on the waitress face, it was like I had asked for the impossible. The Sushi I would give 5 out of 10 the main dishes 1 out of 10. Service 0 out of 10.Whilst we were there I was observing customers coming in to collect their takeaways and the 2 common questions being asked was 1. You paying cash or card? 2. Do you need a receipt. I’ve seen this sort of behaviour before and know why it’s done. I wasn’t surprised that when I asked for the bill I was asked the same 2 questions but my response was card and yes I want a receipt. I was shocked that we were charged £6.80 for 4 mini veg spring rolls but on the receipt it showed as Duck spring rolls. When I asked the waitress she told me Duck spring rolls are the same price as the veg spring rolls. I asked her to correct it on the receipt she said she can’t and it doesn’t matter as it’s the same price. I also noticed she added the service charge without me seeing or asking me. Very underhanded behaviour and in my eyes Fudging the books and ripping customers off. I will not be returning to this restaurant and would strongly recommend that if you do visit or order food make sure you get your receipt so you know you’re being charged correctly. Really disappointed in the whole experience.

Delicious sushi, beautifully served and freshly and made to order, which is very important for us. Everything came very quickly. Thank you! We'll come back :)

Popped in for lunch and ordered the salmon teriyaki, Achimi special sushi set, green tea, ramune and finished off with Mochi ice cream balls. Great service and the salmon teriyaki was especially yum! Very quick service, great quality food and would recommend!

My favourite Japanese restaurant in the area. Good food and service, and reasonable prices. I have been back a few times and never had a bad experience. Recommended!

I am embarrassed for anyone who reviewed this place above a 2. The fish is at best, cheap supermarket quality. The Chef takes zero pride in his work and it is evident on the plate. Service was fine. Atmosphere terrible. You’d have to be extremely desperate and self loathing to voluntarily eat here.

Amazing food, every time I visit the area I go. Even the most unorthodox of food that one would typically hold reservations for is amazing. The sushi and nigiri is excellent, and the boxes make for excellent main meals.Don't be afraid to try the eel box, it is excellent.

been going here for over 10 years. one of the best under rated sushi restaurants in the south! never stop selling my favourite, salmon skin maki ❤️ they also catered to my friend who is allergic to gluten and dairy!Dietary restrictions: they cater to gluten and dairy free!

I've had sushi a few times here now and it never disappoints the staff and owner are very friendly and the food is fresh and authentic JapaneseA rare gem in the middle of a place that mostly consists of just pubs and fancy pubsMy favourite dish here that I strongly recommend is their Salmon Teriyaki special rollThis is a sushi recipe you don't find much as it is time consuming and challenging to make but Achimi in Beaconsfield makes it perfectlyThe challenge of this dish is that the sushi chef first has to prepare the sushi roll partially and then blowtorch the roll without burning the rice or seaweed and only partially cooking the salmon in the process and then proceed to finish the dressing and garnishing of the roll. But the end result is a very tasty recipe when done rightBut all their other sushi dishes are really great too and I've also had some of their cooked starters such as the tempura dishes and these were good too

Better to go to Waitrose in Beaconsfield and buy similar dishes for less. However, some of the dishes are great but more expensive than many top Japanese restaurants. The sashimi slices were far too thick but regrettably, no one could speak Japanese

We love the sushi so much that since moving away to Henley we still make a monthly take away order and go collect it en route from London.
