“Scallop starter underwhelming, over cooked and the apple and bacon were predominant flavours.
Grilled prawns lovely.
Steak was lovely but please do not serve with a serrated knife which tears the meat.
Generous sides.
Lobstertail overcooked andcdry.

“Natalie and the kitchen staff at Brown’s really helped us out after a bad breakfast experience at Brasserie Blanc nearby. Food was decent and service was very friendly and swift. Nice loose leaf teapot too. ”

“Really impressed with The Dove Café. Every single person we met was welcoming, cheerful, and clearly giving up their time just to make sure the community has somewhere special to come together.
The tea was spot on (served properly hot, in a proper tea pot!) and the menu had a great variety, something for everyone. My son enjoyed one of the kids lunchboxes which was full of high quality items and to my amazement was free over the summer holidays through their funding partners.The garden was a hit, full of ride in cars which kept my son entertained and they had a great area inside for younger toddlers to play.

“Absolutely first class. So many touches, bringing an exceptional experience and delicious. Its the second time we've been and it just gets better. Why this isn't a Michelin star is a mystery to me! Sat outside this time and although rainy evening it was cosy and comfortable. Can't wait to go back.”
