“Really impressed with The Dove Café. Every single person we met was welcoming, cheerful, and clearly giving up their time just to make sure the community has somewhere special to come together.

The tea was spot on (served properly hot, in a proper tea pot!) and the menu had a great variety, something for everyone. My son enjoyed one of the kids lunchboxes which was full of high quality items and to my amazement was free over the summer holidays through their funding partners.The garden was a hit, full of ride in cars which kept my son entertained and they had a great area inside for younger toddlers to play.

Glad I made a reservation as it is very popular.

“What lovely staff! I came with my 90 yr old mum on Thursday, 26th September and the staff working that day were so kind to her. She was feeling very tired and it hadn't been a good morning for her so it was an absolute pleasure to be served so patiently and with such kindness. Thank you”

“Wow, what a charming slow paced tea room. A small, well formed menu of homemade baps, sandwiches and scones. The homemade sourdough baps made using a carefully looked after 8 year old starter are miles above any sourdough we’ve ever tasted. Seating for few, but complete menu can be taken away. The lovely lady who owns the tea room was so friendly. Wish we lived closer, as we would be here every weekend!

“We popped in for an impromptu lunch and were really impressed with how authentic it was! Probably the best pizza I have ever had and my wife’s pizza was incredible too! We also ordered to lasagnes to take away and have for supper later which were also amazing even after reheating in the oven!

“This is our most local starbucks and definitely our family favourite. Staff always helpful and polite, Jas the manager seems like she cares about her customers and always checks that your coffee is how you like it( my husband is fussy with his coffee!!) Queues generally move quickly and service is efficient.”
