The Kitchen was being refurbished, so this review is for the cakes they had today!.......I am looking forward to returning when the kitchen is up and running!Coffee was hot and excellent.Seeded sausage roll was very meaty and tasty, (cold day!) but would have been better if it was warmer.Chocolate slice was delicious, but not as soft and light as expected. The place was quite empty when we visited so there was not a lot of atmosphere this visit! Please don't avoid this venue based on this review as I'm sure that with a fully functioning kitchen, it will be fabulous!

Had a pizza ?Taste average no seasoning on table for pizza. Floor was dirty and the table as well. I found fork under the table. /CarelessnessTable was juggling all the time while cutting the pizza. Food particles everywhereI asked waitress for pizza she said she need to check. Kitchen is closed or open.Staff is not sure where they are working. The young boy over there was excellent and smiling all the time having positive vibes with him. That's was mistake to go there. Was first and last. Next time I'll choose to go across the street

We repeatedly use this cafe for coffee and buns or brunch. Whilst I can see some reviews have differing opinions, after perhaps 50 visits we still go there and all is well. Their cakes and snacks are really good and all with a continental flavour which I enjoy.

Nice place, staff are friendly and service is good. Good choice of lunch dishes. I had the bacon, brie and cranberry toastie this is served with chips. Delicious and very filling. Lots of tables inside and out, it was a rainy and blustery day so we were inside. A few parking spaces outside but plenty of other parking in the town not far away. Always a popular place have been many times over the years and will be back again.

£3.70 PER COLD SAUSAGE ROLL !....SMALLER THAN THE SIZE OF A CAN OF DRINK...RUBBERY / SPONGY PASTRY AND NOT FRESH. ALSO VERY BLAND. NEVER AGAIN. MAYBE SOMEONE FROM JUNGS SHOULD TRY AND VISIT A SIMMONDS BAKERY AS A BENCHMARK!. STAFF NOT VERY CUSTOMER FRIENDLY!.

4.10 for an average tasting double espresso. By far and away the most expensive double espresso I've heard had In the UK

Had a lovely stop in Jungs this morning. Happened to be in the area getting my car cleaned on the way somewhere. I was impressed by the delicious coffee, relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff. I wish I hadn't had breakfast because the pastries looked delicious!

It was my first visit. It reminded me of when parents go on holiday and leave the reluctant kids in charge. I was unlucky to visit during this time. The 'kids' hadn't a clue about service and seemed totally disinterested in their customers. We ordered drinks - inside. We did sit outside for a good 20 minutes, but no-one came out to us - although there seemed to be plenty of staff - all young, having a chat. A simple request to pop inside to order would have sufficed. They clearly did not want to be there. They were out of their depth, monosyllabic, made no eye contact, didn't smile, and seemed otally disinterested. The teaspoons were all stained. We didn't order any food - it was not the sort of place you wanted to linger or to be honest, hand over any more of your hard earned cash! Would I recommed? Yes but only If you're short on funds and want somewhere quiet and warm to sit and while away the time without being disturbed. Jungs is exactly the right place - the staff will not even notice you're there!!

Not the place it used to be. Best stay away. You will only be disappointed. The young lady on the till, taking orders, (there's no table ordering any more) was not welcoming and sullen. We ordered an omelet and asked what came with it. She looked a bit puzzled. So we said does it come with salad- answer "we don't do salad". What about some chips "we don't do chips. But chips are on the menu board (there are no actual menus available, scan the we code at the table or look at the board behind the counter). So ordered a slice of bread to go with it. Another order was a goats cheese and Mediterranean vegetables toastie. Didn't bother to ask what came with it. Another order was a ham and cheese croissant So the order arrived. Service was quite quick. Omelette was undercooked AND it had SALAD with it. ( they don't do salad though). Very little salad though. The slice of bread came as 4 slices of cold toast. No butter. The goats cheese came with CHIPS ( but they don't do chips, of course) Could hardly find the cheese. Same with the croissant. Hardly any cheese, not fresh. Cutlery not clean. All very disappointing. Won't be going back. Can't see this place surviving for much longer with this sort of performance. They have already closed off half of what it used to be.
