Absolutely terrible experience here!!! Staff were all imature and not bothered about anything. All 5 pizzas came out cold and under cooked, i mean how can you mess up pizzas!!!

Restaurant was a mess, tables hadn’t been cleared and indeed none were cleared whilst I was there.Place was understaffed and those there were uninterested. Two tables came and left without being served. No leadership in front of house.My gluten free Pollo Forza has a sloppy base.I wonder whether this chain will survive.

It's OK, nothing special. Staff seem thT they do not want to be there, I wanted a salad and they had no lettuce. I did offer to buy if for them from M&S next door. Anyway it is ok.

Worst experience in terms of customer service I have ever had in my life.We waited at the front for around 5-7 minutes to be seated whilst the two servers on shift milled around putting things on tables with no acknowledgment of our presence. When one of them finally came over to us they only asked us where we would like to sit, no other words were said. And then for the next 15 minutes we sat at the table with no service. I had to wave at one of them when they finally made eye contact with me, which I found really embarrassing as I didn’t want to be that person that beckons a server over as I find it rude. When they came over to the table I had to ask if we could order because they looked clueless as to why I’d asked them to come over. They then had to go and fetch the “phone” as they called it as they weren’t carrying it on their person, so we could order.We asked for water for the table when placing our food order, as no one had come to take our drinks order, and then we ordered two pizzas and a side.About 15 minutes later our pizzas were brought over to us and we still had no drinks. There was also no cutlery on the table and the glasses were used as they already had remnants of drinks in them. There were dirty knives and forks on our table and it had not been cleaned. I asked the server please can we have the water for the table we ordered, some glasses and some cutlery.The server came back over with cutlery and serviettes. I asked them again please can we have some water for the table and some glasses. The server went over to another table that hadn't been cleared yet, took the water jug off that table, went over to the kitchen, put ice in the jug, filled it from the tap then brought it over to us with two glasses.Earlier on when we were waiting for our food, we witnessed every other table around us (about 3-4 tables) grabbing one of the server's attention as they walked past to ask for service. One table even left after taking their seats because after about 15 minutes no one had visited the table to take even their drinks order.Throughout our time at the table also, as we were sat by the entrance, we saw every group of people who arrived have to wait longer than they should have like we did to be seen to and seated. Some walked off before being seen to because I presume they felt they had waited too long.We also had to get up from the table to ask to pay the bill because no one returned to our table.The second we stood up was the first time we had been paid any notice, probably because they thought we were going to leave without settling up.The pizza was nice but the side wasn't cooked properly.I just have absolutely no idea what was going on in this restaurant, is it because it's at a service station they don't treat their customers the same as they would in one of their normal restaurants? Not a clue. It wasn’t busy either, probably a total of about 6 tables occupied.

The food was good as expected but the service was as always terrible. They need a good manager! The staff were all stood around drinking and laughing. No rush to serve or clear tables. We were not asked if we wanted more drinks, if we had everything that we ordered, if our meals were ok. The kids weren’t offered pencils to do the activities on the menu. We had to ask for our table to be cleared so we could order dessert. Kitchen staff had to repeatedly ask for service as food was sitting waiting to be taken to customers. Very disappointed as the restaurant wasn’t busy the staff just need some organisation and delegation.

Good food as always however the waiter never really spoke to us was rude and got my order wrong. Then at payment she shoved the card machine in our faces without the bill receipt. Not coming back to this one.

Stopped here to grab a quick dinner on the way back from a day out with the family and thought pizza express was a safe bet as in the past the food has always been good. However this particular restaurant was not great , we sat down and the table stank like it had been cleaned with a dirty cloth so we moved tables and the same smell was there paired with sticky seats, the waitress kind of grunted when we mentioned about it.We then left the restaurant after thinking if the tables are anything to go by what is the kitchen like!!

After a hard ride I took a break at the service station. I wanted to eat pizza and stopped by pizza express. I asked if they do take away. They said they were working. When I was supposed to order and pay for a pizza at the cash register, they asked me for my driver's license. Considering that I did not have a driver's license with me, they refused to accept my order. Without explanation. Typical fascism and discrimination.

It wasn't the best pizza express I went to. Firstly the waitress said whoever has the pizza express club app gets free doughballs whereas what she meant is everyone who signs up on the day, not if you already have it. The food took such a long time. There was a table of 4 next to us who arrived after us, got their food and managed to eat and pay the bill before ours arrived. There was no apology from the staff or explanation why it took so long. Wouldn't go there again

We have just turned up to Beaconsfield Pizza Express at the Services on the M40. Travelled for the past 5 hrs so we are feeling the need for a lovely big meal! It didn't happen! Today was extremely busy on Saturday afternoon but Pizza Express was virtually empty. There were instructions on a notice on every table that you can download their app, put in your table number, get free doughballs (woooo) and order online and pay online. I prefer this method as you are not waiting around for staff to faff about with your order and possibly make mistakes and you can pay straight away and have a computerised account of the meal you have ordered with a paperless transaction. I downloaded the app, put in the table number but that is where it stopped! Done this several times and then had to wait around for this rather miserable waitress without a smile to explain my predicament. She said that I have not ordered yet so the app does not work until you order ??? I can read by the way and I followed instructions perfectly and I said to the unsmiling waitress that the app asked us to put the table number in first - until you have completed this action, you cannot order! She then told me that I have to order and pay through her so I asked why? If this was the case, take off all the notices on all tables and at the entry point of the restaurant, explain that this is waitress services only! I was wondering why the place was so empty as all the other concessions were rammed with people! Needless to say, we enjoyed a lovely meal nearby at a cost of £60 (booked and paid for ONLINE) for the 3 of us and will not be using Pizza express if your advertised online system does not work! Oh, ensure you employ staff that can muster a smile please! It helps with profits...
