British • “?My son brought me here for a mothers day treat. Our roast dinner was absolutely delicious. The young lass serving us was a gem, polite, cheerful and a very pleasant and hard worker. The atmosphere was one of relaxed cheerfulness. My son and I plan on being regular customers in future.”

“Called in, passing through the village. A cozy, well furnished rustic venue. Friendly staff, nice music and atmosphere. Food looked lovely, despite not ordering anything myself as the menu was limited. Only 1 chicken dish for main, which was my preference on this day sadly.”

“The food was very good, hot, fresh, and full of flavour. The tempera was fresh and delicious. The Caesar dressing and tartar sauce were excellent, and the children’s ice cream, while slightly less cold than ideal, was still lovely. Service was friendly and well-timed; the staff were attentive without being intrusive, giving us plenty of time to decide on our order and never interrupting our conversation.
If possible, it would be nice to have some form of insect screen to prevent wasps from coming indoors, as their presence was a minor distraction. The washroom facilities could also benefit from a fresher scent. Overall, however, it was an enjoyable dining experience.”
