The food was good with top quality Lime Pickle served with the Poppadoms and tender Lamb used in the main dishes. What spoiled the experience for me was the fact that they only offer bread made with white flour.I like bread and usually have Chapati or Roti instead of the (white) Rice offered in restaurants because I need fibre to avoid my IBS flaring up (a lot of people have this problem). I was under the impression that Nan bread is made with white flour but Chapati & Roti with Atta (wholemeal flour) and certainly investigation on line supports this. I made my view clear to the Waiter and introduced him to Chicken 65 which was not on the menu and is delicious if prepared correctly.I'm sorry but I won't be returning unless they offer proper Chapati & Roti made with the correct flour, it just seems for their convenience that they use one flour and in fairness they are not the only Indian restaurant to be guilty of this.Parking: Space for about 10 cars in their car park and you can park in the road too.

they had set meals for 4+ which sounded great however my family and i went for separate dishes. chicken tikka masala is often a very typical boring dish for me but having had it here i thought it was amazing, it was coconutty and perfect. the portion sizes were great. the onion bajis were huge and i couldn’t finish it. the waiters were jokey and hospitable. i cant sing their praises enough. thank you for a lovely experience!

Hands down some of the best Indian food I've ever had. Staff is incredibly friendly. Several unique dishes I haven't seen elsewhere. Good selection of wine at reasonable prices as well. Atmosphere is above average as well. Definitely not just your typical curry shop!

A wonderful meal, with great service. Cafe Masala never fail to disappoint. Our regular, local favourite restaurant.

Friday evening and it was deserted. I collected a takeaway admitted early, about 6pm but thought it was closed. Not a soul inside. Food was very average. I suspect it's another restaurant that buys in from a central supplier. There was certainly nothing fresh about the ingredients. Once you've had really good Indian food it's difficult to accept the usual fayre from such places.

Best Indian restaurant!! We used to live in the area and would often have a meal or take away from Cafe Masala, but moved away and haven’t been back for years. We always compared any other Indian restaurant with Cafe Masala, and we were always left disappointed, no other matched. We went there for our anniversary last night, and it was as great as ever. It was lovely to be remembered by Tarik and his wonderful staff, the food was as wonderful as we remembered. Would recommend to everyone.

Cafe masala has the best food! The flavours are spot on and the service is incredible. Such kind and thoughtful waiting staff. Musan in particular was fantastic. Our go to spot for a treat.

Was recommended by a local to try this place, and we were definitely not disappointed. First thing is that it was really busy, which is always a good sign - if the locals like this place they must be doing something right. The restaurant itself was nicely done up, and clean, although I felt it could do with just a tad more lighting inside. The menu was pretty extensive, and after a very short wait, we ordered a dhal, mixed tandoori grill, and a kebab afghani curry with naans and parathas. Suffice to say the meal was excellent, with just the right amount of spice, piping hot, and served without an inordinate amount of delay. The service was excellent, and I mean really excellent with the waiters always making sure we were OK, and even the owner popping over to say hello to some out of towners, and even giving us some guidance on the locality.Prices were reasonable, and plenty of off-road parking also available. All in all, highly recommended and would go again if in that neck of the woods.

Any day of the week this is a great place, eat in or take away. Really friendly staff and clearly lots of return customers. Clean and well presented tables and the food is always tasty. Would totally recommend.
