We’ve lived in the Chalfonts for 15yrs and not visited this restaurant as a family or now as a couple. Popped in (no booking) last night and had a lovely warm welcome, servers with all of the ‘Italian’ character and excellent food. Some lovely Chianti off a fantastic wine list. We’ll be back and wished we had tried it years ago. Thanks to all for a great evening.

This proved to be a busy, buzzy place, even on a Sunday lunchtime and we quickly understood why - great, friendly staff; an interesting menu and some great sounding specials, too! Despite this, we all ended up just having pasta dishes - but, be warned, they are HUGE! And delicious, as well! The mixed seafood spaghetti was probably the most popular but the meatball looked good, too - but I can't resist a carbonara as an indication as to how good the pasta is - and I was not disappointed!

I went on a works night out here. I had the Black pasta with crab and prawns in a spicy tomato sauce. It was awesome. I really enjoyed the meal. The service was quick enough to enjoy the night without feeling rushed. The restaurant was busy but it didn't seem to detract from the experience. Thanks to all the team at Luna Rossa. I had a great time and great food!

A friend booked a table for 6 and Luna Rossa last night. When we arrived at the allotted time the restaurant was full with only 2 tables of 4 available. We waited at the desk for a couple of minutes before one of the waiters came up to us. We explained we had a booking and he, we thought, went to check but time went on and he didn’t come back to us (at this point he was serving other customers!) Another member of staff came up to us and the same thing happened again and again when a 3rd member of staff came up to us. It’s obvious that our reservation either wasn’t written down or was ignored. The food in this place is lovely it’s just a shame the staff don’t measure up.
