Both the fish and chips were soggy also if you want chips with your fish this isn't the place to go. Attached photo is meant to be a medium fish a chips. Cheapest part of the meal as well. If your looking for a proper fish and chip shop look elsewhere.

The owner shouted at me that I was following a guy up the road in front of his customers. He was rude and unpleasant. He told me not to sit outside his shop. He is friends with a lady in the village who's family have been harassing me. I have reported incident to police.

This has always been our go to fish and chips, more so since Andy's Plaice went. It was always seen to be great food for a reasonable price, decent portions etc but lately it's really poor and no value at all. I understand cost of living is hitting us all but when you get cheated out really smacks as insulting. After £23.20 I got home to find out my large haddock was the same size as the medium (in pic left is medium, right is large). They told me that there was only 1 large haddock so did I want a medium. I agreed but didn't expect this cheat of 2 mediums. The chips were chucked in with the fish and for a large portion which used to be served and wrapped separately being chucked in with the fish is also skimping on serves. For the family of 4 we often had more thanenough food with a large and medium chips previously but with a growing boy and me being extra hungry I went for 2 large. Portions fed 3, they were worse than the mediums previously given and about £1.50 extra each for a large really hurt. All this after waiting outside for 25 minutes added to a huge disappointment and no return business from me and my family.

This was the worst cod and chips I've had from a take away for a very long time. Very little fish inside a mountain of batter accompanied by approximately twenty chips. I will be going elsewhere in future.

Firstly contactless you have to spend over a £5 to use card. This stopped years ago and should be able to any amount on a card especially if it just for one person. I wouldn't bother with the sausage better of getting a frozen bag for your money,
A fish and chips place that does not have salt packets, vinegar packets or tarter sauce. So expect just plain fish and plain chips, no flavor. Will not order from there again.

Queued 20 minutes - paid £23.80 and got back home to realise half my order was missing. Ended up giving the kids tea and went out to get an Indian takeaway for the rest of the family. If you do go here, check your order before you leave the shop!
