Used to be a nice local with sport and relatively cheap pints. Changed owners a few years ago to become some pretentious half bar half restaurant and as such is completely empty! Very disappointing

After being turned away from The Ethorpe in GX apparently they do not accommodate walk in!! we decided to pop down to The Greyhound Inn in CSP. We were greeted warmly and enjoyed a fabulous hearty breakfast. Thank you Aaron, Maxine and Team for your 5 star service.Walkability: Free car park at the front and large Pay and Display car park at the back. Free Sundays and Bank holidays.Food & drinks: Excellent breakfast, vegan and meats

Amazing service from Maxine and Aaron in the team! They happily accommodated me and my mum for breakfast despite gearing up for a busy lunch on Mother’s Day. Extremely attentive and good humoured during our visit! Our breakfasts were epic too! Compliments to the chef!Walkability: Located in a cute village that’s nice to walk around and lots of parking nearbyFood & drinks: Lovely pub menu

Excellent food, service. Lovely family meal. Great pub , love the cosy atmosphere. Will definitely be back.
Oh dear. The promised food was somehow not delivered and atmosphere is very basic. Think they are nicer places in Chalfont like the Jolly Farmer.

Unbelievably bad service. My parents stayed here for Christmas, and we accept not easy to get staff at Christmas, however the bed was not made up, no sheets, blankets or pillows. My elderly parents slept in their clothes and coats! No staff to help. Following day staff totally disinterested in helping or apologising. Breakfast pretty poor too. Worst hotel stay they've ever had.

We have stayed at the Greyhound 5 times now, and we always had a good room. Unfortunately, this time, it was not so good. Not particularly clean, no toilet roll holder it had been broken off and the roll was just dumped on the bin, the shower metal tube was broken, so all you could see was a tube.Extremely stingy with coffee and teabags, two of each, but the coffee was one normal and one decaff, not everyone like decaff.
