Had my lunch at Roberto's today I had an amazing experience everything was lovely from the beginning, staff were very attentive, great ambience with Italian jazz. I had the seafood pasta and for dessert was quite difficult to choose because of the variety of Italian cakes so I went for my favourite passion fruit cheese cake. Thank you all

The food was presented with care and attention to detail with fresh ingredients. It tasted lovely. The service was good without being intrusive. There was a happy atmosphere from all the staff who were very helpful.

Will not be eating here again. Nothing to do with the wait staff or the food. During our visit today the manager was having meetings with the staff. During one meeting he started shouting at a member of staff. We were at the opposite end of the restaurant and could clearly hear him, he shouted at them ‘shut your mouth, you’re not listening to me’ gesticulating in their face. No one should be spoken to in this way, the staff member left the table visibly upset. I will not be putting money in this man’s pocket again.

The food wasn't bad but definitely not worth the price. The bolognase was boring and the carbonara was really heavy. The garlic bread was mostly burnt. The only food I can recommend getting were the fries. The staff seemed a bit clueless and should probably take some lessons in customer service.The atmosphere wasn't great it felt like I was in a retirement home.

1235 - Sunday lunch time Ask the waiter at the door if we could have a table. She said yes but didn’t follow us in or hand us any menus. We found ourselves at table and I got a high chair and out my child in it. 5 mins later a waitress said we couldn’t sit at the table near the kitchen as ‘the Boss’ doesn’t like it (perhaps remove the table if that’s the case). Asked to order food and told we had to wait ten minutes as the kitchen needed to prepare?? After 20 minutes we asked to order again and we’re told to wait 5 minutes. We then asked for the bill for our drinks as we coldnt wait any longer for food with a small child. They seemed angry at our request and then suggested we could then order food.

Food in this place is good value for money. What I don't appreciate is the server bringing me the bill without me having finished my coffee and not knowing if I wanted another coffee. I had the traditional breakfast which was very nice.They missed out on selling me another coffee because they were to eager to get me off the table....... lesson learnt hopefully ?

A lovely atmosphere! The staff were so attentive, very happy & the food was delicious with great portion sizes. We had a lovely evening, & thank you to Zanib & the staff for making us feel so welcome! X

No reason to have doubted it but it was genuinely above my expectations. Walked passed it for years not really fancying a meal whilst at the shops but tried today and the food and service were great. The weather was hot and the outdoor seating was perfect, could have been in Italy!1 improvement would be to have a children's menu but they can offer smaller portions of some pasta dishesThanks

Finally got round to trying this place after a few years of being open. Decided to come for breakfast. Disappointed that although they serve halal food none of their breakfast options. When the food arrived it was cooked well but the food was really basic considering they had a vast set of brunch options, by basic I mean it was literally scrambled egg, white toast and bit of smoked salmon, they could have presented it better, wedge of lemon, garnish, maybe some hollandaise sauce. But I have to say staff were really good, friendly and efficient. Service was decent and I did give tip as they deserved it massively. I'd like to try and see what their lunch service is like, because I wasn't too impressed what all the hype was about for their breakfast anyway.

Nice aesthetics, poor food, and poor treatment of staff. A waitress should never be made to literally run around the restaurant. Waitress also kept running to her supervisor even whilst taking orders. Poor training. Poor management. Not the only customers there that noticed all of this.Great atmosphere had a lot of potential with the right management and chefs.Job adverts all around the restaurant so hopefully they are already working on this.
I came here alone to have full English Breakfast. The table was very sticky. Could do a better job to clean it better. I have Full English Breakfast Cost £12.50, Tea 2.50 and Orange Juice £3.95. I Breakfast cooked freshly pre-pared no issues there. My bill came to £18.95.

Went for morning breakfast with my partner.She cannot eat eggs so requested her breakfast to not have eggs on it. And the waitress couldn't comprehend not having eggs. To get them removed from the dish took 7 or 8 attempts and her having to call her another server over to explain the absurdity of us not wanting eggs on my partner's plate. So my partner requested to have a replacement instead of the eggs and this created another situation that required a gathering of staff at our table. We were then charged for the adaption if her plate including the removal of egg at a cost to ourself. Making her plate go from a £8 to a £14 plate.When the food finally arrived after the ritual of servers there was hair, not just one hair but a plethora in my food. And I am smooth as smooth comes. (Nature's shave you could say) so it wasn't my hair. So when I pointed this out to the server she requested the gathering of the council of staff again at our table. Started to feel like a cult gathering having a point and a laugh. One of their servers called out to the kitchen and said to the chief in there that there is their hair in my food and they said "oh right" then proceeded to just walk off. And that was that. I still had hair in my food and they knew after the gathering. But didn't care. Not one bit.The only saving grace was another server came to the rescue in my hairy hour if need and told me not to eat the food and I wouldn't be charged for it. And then proceeded to just leave it in front of me while my partner ate her food and I watched her.... No replacement. No anything just to watch over the food.I cannot recommend or even bring myself to look at my bank statement with the name on there. After paying for essentially 2 meals with plate changes and me watching someone else eat.Genuinely horrible place.

We have visited Robertos since it opened. Service and food has been good. But last visit 6 weeks ago in a very hot day we found a complete change of staff who appeared not to understand our order. We ordered drinks but ice cream was denied and no reasonable given, we were expected to order lunch but when certain requests were disregarded we began to feel as if we'd entered a different restaurant to what it was before. We consider there was a language problem, we asked to see Manager, but another waitress appeared. Since then we haven't returned, sad because til then it had been a good place to eat.

I recently visited this restaurant and I would like to share my experience. The ambiance of the restaurant was pleasant, and the staff provided excellent service. However, there was one major disappointment—the calamari dish.The carbonara and sea bass that I ordered were delicious and satisfying. However, the calamari was extremely disappointing. I have never had calamari that was as unappetizing as this. The outer batter was excessively hard, making it difficult to bite into. I'm not sure if this is the norm for the restaurant or if they used leftover batter to fry the dish.Overall, the restaurant had a nice atmosphere and the service was commendable. However, the disappointing calamari dish left a negative impression on my dining experience. I would recommend trying other menu items at the restaurant, but I personally will not be returning.
