Chicken Cottage or the Cottage of Disease? I've just come to know this place was recently awarded, elected and thoroughly congratulated with a 1 star hygiene rating. You'd have to be caught licking the floors and drooling on the chicken to get 1 star. I was in utter dismay since I remember eating from this filthy place 3 years ago and I fear some of that substance is still in my body infused with my anatomy.After I was made aware of the hygiene rating, I stormed into the takeaway and said calmly with a serious undertone "how do you guys feel about getting a 1 star from the hygiene agency?" A cashier with a limp uttered in his stammering voice "where's your star?" After that I started to ring immigration and they swiftly apologized, lesson learnt I guess, don't try get funny when you're here on a dodgy student visa. Gives a whole new meaning to takeaway, you make jokes we'll take you away, away from this country. So behave, pay your taxes and make food that's actually edible for human consumption, we aren't experiments. Some are don't get me wrong, but the general populous aren't so get a grip.

I visited here. Around 6pm today and placed an order. Unfortunately, I had to wait for 20 minutes before inquiring about my food. The staff conversed in their language, informing me that my order had not even been started and requested an additional 5 minutes. Dissatisfied with the delay, I requested a refund and left. The service was notably slow and of poor quality.Never again.

Horrible , despicable behaviour slow service bad welcome , I think police need to investigate this place I suspect they are selling drug heroine , crack , hashish I saw many people coming taking a small black bag and leaving straight away, the delivery drug dealers are more important than customer waiting for , just a disgrace I hope police will investigate this dodgy place food was not tasty over spiced , chips low quality every product are low quality cheapest one even the service are poor, how dare they are selling drugs just to cover the lost of gone customers.i would never recommend this place even to someone i dislike overpriced and uttermely rubbish place

food was great, got chicken strip meal. Chicken was done fresh and was hot and crispy when i received it. Good seasoning. Fries were well salted and a good portion. Drink was fine although it was in french? Definitely worth the time and price.

Reasonably priced and friendly service. Had the six piece chicken whilst my wife had the burger. It was OK, but parts of the chicken were incredibly greasy. The stripes were good though, I would recommend them.

Do not go as you will probably find hair in your food, like me. It is disappointing how it fell off this far and will probabably never come back again.

Very rude staff with poor customer gangster service. They always look unhappy and treat some customers with no respect. It's almost like they're doing you a great deal of favour for their services that isn't free. Food portions are also served based on their mood or who's serving. Disgusting!

Stay away from this place... chicken is dripping oil, like it had cholesterol before it was deep fried alive. Chips where less oily which must be a talent. Only drunk people could enjoy this

The very friendly and nice and polite staff is a bonus. The chicken burger meal was really very nice much better thicker tastier chicken than the KFC across the road surprisingly. I went back the next day also as was working in the area and wanted something tasty and quick again. I would recommend if wanting chicken in High Wycombe and will be returning when in the area again working.
