I get the impression that the owners are winding the Taps down. The bar staff are excellent, beer is good but often the selection can be poor. Food is no longer available, but you can take food in. The bar is looking tired, the loos are very retro, if 1970s public toilets are your thing. Its a real shame.

Wow! What a decline in this place! Really poor welcome at the bar, not much of an atmosphere and the seating was just awful, as chairs were ripped to shreds - will not be back!

Nice pub, friendly atmosphere and staff and good prices. Didn't have food, just a couple of pints but would drink there again.

The food was absolutely dreadful. I had baby back ribs they were tough and cold. Yuk! The 1* is for side portion of 3 bean chilli, which I ate with the chips, that was quite nice but not worth almost £16. I left hungry. I didn’t complain, there is no point, it would just make me angry and they wouldn’t care. I won’t be back.
Absolutely disgraceful. We went in for a late breakfast as we usually love their food. We asked for poached eggs on toast that was stated explicitly on their menu - we also asked for a big breakfast and mushrooms on toast. After ordering, a member of staff said they couldn't do poached eggs but could do any other way. We challenged this because they had eggs so why could they not do poached? Whilst waiting for him to speak to the chef, we also ordered the breakfast and mushrooms on toast. We waited for half an hour, watching a table with more people that came in after us get all their food before ours came. When the staff member came back, he said they no longer do poached eggs as it's an old menu they have not yet updated - false advertising at it's finest. After arguing about that for 5 minutes we then asked where the other food we ordered was, he replied saying he hadn't yet ordered it even though we said we still wanted that. We told him we were outraged that we had been waiting so long and he responded with a bunch of rude and patronising comments telling us "there's no need to write a bad review, my friend" before handing us the bill for the drinks without any discount or compensation for our troubles and saying "well thank you for joining us". Awful service and awfully handled. Will not be returning. If we could give a minus review, we would.

Always have a great time at the taps! Amazing affordable food, drinks are great prices! Amazing DJ for evening entertainment on a Saturday!! Very good Vibe!! Would deffo recommend for a night out!!

Value for money!!Got the starter + main for £10 deal as the friendly staff recommendFor starters halloumi fries which were home made and delicious + breaded prawns which were very big and tasty.For mains vegan burger which was lovely according to my gf + breaded scampi which was unbeatable.Awesome service as well!Would definitely come again.

Had some really good food here last week, starter and main for £10, you can't go wrong! BOGOF on certain beers and prosecco until 8pm too.

Friday night karaoke, waited 3+ hours for songs to come up and bouncers very disrespectful kicking people out when they had enough! Would not recommend to go to this place if you want to have a nice night out with your friends (unless you’re friends with the bar staff or bouncers). Hasn’t kept up with the times and overall the management has declined over last 2 years. Wouldn’t be surprised to see this place close soon! Good idea but badly executed!
