I have been to this Costa a number of times and had the misfortune to go back today. I typically visit early and the service is always the same, the colleagues are outside chatting and when they have to come in to serve you it is clearly inconvenient for them. You don’t get a greeting, a smile, a please or a thank you. It is a really unwelcoming experience, really horrible atmosphere.

Love this place and the staff. This place is always so inviting, and the staff never fails to make my partner or myself smile even on the coldest and wettest days. I will go nowhere else for my coffee.Wheelchair accessibility: This place has a ramp for wheelchair users and buggies.

I go to 3 or 4 Costa’s in the area mainly Bourne End, Flackwell Heath and Cookham where staff and service is always very good. This one at the Next store is by far the worst, today there were 4 members of staff on and the queue was out the door. Not one of them seemed to know what they were doing, there are no please and thank you from them. Asked if I wanted whole or skinny milk, fair enough I should of said whole but I asked just normal milk, to be abruptly told we don’t have normal milk! Perhaps a little more training in hospitality and manners wouldn’t go a miss and this could be a really nice Costa like the other ones I visit.

I have been going to this Costa Coffee for almost 2 years Now.I have the same exact drink and i would Say everyone is nice and helpful except the red short hair lady(always has her hair in ponytail or a bun)She is all the time rude and disrespectful and I notice not only with me but the other customers as well.One thing that I find to be bad is that every time she is frothing the milk ,if you look at her she is putting the fingers inside which is against health & safety procedures .Even tho I go every morning to get my coffee,7 days a week,she is always making the drinks for the regular customer who are behind me in the line, and when you ask her a question regarding a drink she is very rude .I appreciate all the other staff and they should be praised as they are very nice,but with her, the management should take actions as this is not the correct customer service standards.There are days when I come for 2-3 drinks a day,and I do consider myself a regular customer sincer I go 7 days a week,and the fact that I still get this treatment from her it’s outrageous.
