Been here twice service and food is good. The better tables are in lounge area, second time we were seated in the games area which was near to the kitchen so quite noisy, but next time will book a different table.

We visited The Mayflower for our works Christmas lunch and the friendliness and welcoming staff along with excellent food and nice ambience was very nice. Generous portions freshly cooked turkey with all the trimmings, others enjoyed perfectly cooked salmon fillets on crushed new potatoes and fresh vegetables, again generous portions, very filling but there's always room to enjoy the excellent desserts!! good value and nice atmosphere. Will definitely re-visit with the family.

I've lived in High Wycombe a long time but I've never been to the Mayflower. Just wanted to say out meals were delicious and the service was excellent!Vegetarian options: They even have a vegan menu!

Having been before with all our family, I decided to spend lunch with 4 girlfriends. As we don't have large appetites, we ordered the children's roast beef, which was plenty. We had soft drinks, dessert & finished with coffee. ?Parking: On occasions, when fully booked may be short on spaces, but can get parked in the road without any problem.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a small step, but they have a metal ramp, which one of our party needed to use.

Very long wait for food, starters were very good, but the time between starters and mains arriving was so long, we thought about paying up and leaving. It was supposed to be a treat for a friend who goes there frequently, and she knew what she was going to order without looking at the menu "It's superb." When the mains finally arrived, they were all but cold, poorly cooked and looked very unappetising. Our regular friend was hugely disappointed at what is usually her favourite choice, I had the same on her advice - also very poor. Our other friend had something different but said it was flavourless apart from the dressing which she described as sickly. None of us finished our meals, maybe it was an off day or a stand-in chef, but the service was painfully slow, yet new arrivals were being served their food long before ours arrived. Service was not top of their priorities, "We are understaffed at the moment." So understaffed that there was just one person working the bar whilst the other three stood around chatting on the customer side of the bar. First time there and probably the last, a shame as I was looking forward to it as we're my companions.

Had a lovely meal here, especially the Seafood Platter to share as a starter. OMG so good! Burgers were lovely as were the puddings. I'd go again.
