Lovely mothers day meal. Got given a rose on arrival and free drink at the bar! All the staff were lovely and accomodating, especially Chris who was a great laugh when serving us desserts and Tilly who was very nice when ordering (and i even forgot to order desserts and she sorted straight away). Honestly, I'm grappling with the conundrum of what's more askew: the moniker clinging to this establishment or the eccentric locals who, alas, crossed my path in this dreary, soul-sucking haunt.I'm not one to casually sling low ratings, but when I do, you can bet your bottom dollar there's a substantial reason behind it.Let me level with you—I wouldn't curse my worst foe with an invitation to this joint. Now, if, against all reason, you derive amusement from wandering into places that seem to feast on the essence of unsuspecting souls, all while revelling in some mind-bending banter with those of, shall we say, limited intellectual prowess, then give this spot a whirl. It's a peculiar haven for those who find mirth in chaos. Cheers to the brave souls seeking a topsy-turvy adventure! ?

Good pub! Really enjoyed the Vegan burger! Also love the horseshoe doughnut pudding.Our host Lexi was particularly lovely and attentive. Thanks for a great lunch!

Unfortunately, the service was very slow on this visit. Our food (table of 14) came out in dribs and drabs. Half the kids had finished their meals before the other half even got theirs.The staff are very nice and the food is delicious ?

Me and several other football fans from South Wales stopped for a few refreshments. Great Service, lovely staff members, very accommodating. Pool table, dart board(unfortunately wasn’t able to use as no darts there). Food is good, very reasonably price. Not the best food I have had, but for the money you cannot go wrong! Very cheap and standard pub grub - thank you for having us!

Was very quiet at Sunday lunchtime which was surprising at first.The quiet environment suited us.The service was generally to a good standard, friendly and helpful.The food quality was disappointing. Mediocre at bestRoast beef was tough.Vegetarian gravy like water. No more available, so had to eat nut roast meal without gravy.Mashed potato was dry, with a skin/crustCauliflower very over cooked.It's only fair to point out that the nut roast was delicious, so good I would have been more than happy to eat it on Christmas day.Next time we would try somewhere else at a similar price, or pay more elsewhere. For the price you can't expect top quality gourmet food, but you should be able to expect better than this.Vegetarian options: Several vegetarian options, including some vegan.

Me and my grandmother came in for breakfast 15/01/2024 we were met by lovely staff as they opened at 11am. They helped with the doors due to my grandmother being in a wheelchair. We were served by a lovely lady Lexi and a lovely gentleman behind the bar. The breakfast was delicious and was served in great time. Cannot fault the service and they were very kind.
