We booked for Sunday lunch, we were running late due to traffic and they were very accomodating. We ordered starters of Crab, sauteed mushrooms and chipole chicken. They were all lovely only the mushroom dish could have been hotter. We then ordered beef roast and sea bass, all were amazing, it was for a change not to have to season our food. We then ordered dessert of cheese board, trio of mini desserts and lemon tart. Again all very nice. I had not tried creme brulee before but would definately order it again. The staff were welcoming, friendly and attentive but not overbearingly so. I heard about this place through a friend and would certainly come again. Kim out waitress was fab and she is an asset to you.Parking: Lots of spaces and have disabled bays right next to the entrance.

Excellent Sunday roast and very pleasantambience. Vegetarian Fig & Docelatte roast was delicious (and strangely good with English mustard). My companion's Half Roast Chicken was given the thumbs-up. Desserts tasty and nicely presented, including a deeply chocolatey Brownie and Ice Cream. Service attentive and professional.Vegetarian options: Dolcelatte and Fig Roast

A nice pub on the canal, with delicious food.The Malbec and ale pie was very good. A proper pie, too. Pastry all around.The salt and pepper squid that I had ad a starter was also very well cooked.

We had a lovely mother's day lunch last Sunday. All the food was great but the stand dishes were the chicken wings, roast beef, sea bass and the pavlova!The service was also really good especially Lucy. We look forward to coming back again ?

Good food, good ambience, hosts can't do enough for you. Beer cold (perfect temperature in fact).Food comes out quickly, piping hot, full of flavour albeit would prefer "normal" plates (tiny tiny moan, inconsequential to the food quality). Been here many times and will continue to visit! Love this place!

Lovely pub in a great location. We arrived really early as our plan to walk along the canal was stopped by the rain. The team were welcoming and managed to accommodate us for a pre-dinner drink. Service was friendly, food and drinks were good, prices were reasonable. Roast dinner unfortunately was not as good as the other food choices. Will revisit!

There were 23 of us. Nice welcome. Drink orders taken quickly on arrival and delivered quickly too. The pre-ordered food arrived quickly and was to a very good standard. Staff all very friendly and professional.
