Now this is a tricky review. Without the staff, I'd say this store was a 2 to 3 star at best. I thought it was shut when I arrived, but it was actually open, it just looked so run down on the outside that it appeared closed. Inside it felt more like a temporary store, or perhaps they were in the process of closing down (or perhaps about to do a complete refurb?); it felt empty and soleless and the the range on offer was surprisingly limited given the size of the store. However the staff couldn't have been better; helpful and knowledgeable, and knew the right amount of 'space' to give. I actually came away with what I wanted (a bit of a bargin too!)I feel this store only open because of the great staff, and probably not because the company want it anymore...

DO NOT COME HEREThe shopping area is extremely run down and half the shops in this building have moved out. All that is left is a this shop selling products for way more then there worth

The car park was very busy when I arrived at 1430 on a Sunday afternoon. It was much emptier when I left. The trip was successful as I was able to make my intended purchase. The staff did not come to help, but I don't mind that as I was able to take my time to decide which brand to buy. I did not ask for assistance.

The staff are super-knowledgable and really helpful - I would highly recommend Cotswold if you need help choosing kit.

This is a good shop with a surprisingly wide range of sporting and outdoor goods. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable too. Do not be put off by the post-apocalyptic car park and approach!

Used the runners needs section. Having had a poor experience at Rushden same shop I was massively relieved at this experience. The chap took his time explaining everything and giving me options that were helpful and ended up with a perfect pair of running shoes.Getting you to run in the shop and really try stuff out all while they are checking your movements and gait.

Eddie really helped me find the right running trainers. He had fantastic knowledge and really took the time to help!

Decent range of clothing.Lots of different running shoes to try on.TREK store inside was not open.Clearance upstairs had less than a handful of items for a size Medium Male and a small amount of shoes in the normal size range 9-10 UK. Would not recommend it if you're in these size ranges!

Shame there is no longer a Costa or a Trek shop here. Staff are incredibly knowledge and helpful, and there are great deals on running shoes and clothes to be had upstairs in the clearance department!

We had such a great shopping experience here today. The lady who served us patiently helped me choose the right walking boots, allowing me to try five or six pairs so I could find the ones that fitted me best. She was really knowledgeable and not pushy at all. They also have a clearance section with some great discounts to be had. The guys on checkout were helpful and knowledgeable too. Really impressed, thanks to all the staff!

Have wide range of products. Staffs are nice and knowledgeable. I asked for recommendations and they made brilliant suggestions so I got exactly what I need. Highly recommend!!

Guy that welcomed and helped us was nice but store generally untidy and dusty. Needs a good sort out - and for goodness sake get rid of the stupid 'No rucksacks upstairs' sign - rude and annoying.

Great store with loads to offer. Good customer service and honest advises given all the time. I walk in there about once a month and always find something descent with great prices.

Good selection of all the big name brands. Helpful staff, but dont ask to email my receipt (incidentally never arrived) or donate to charity...
