Delicious hot chocolate, a real treat on a Saturday afternoon.I had the salted caramel and clementine hot chocolate, and the cocoa whip is a must have.The cafe is always busy but the staff are wonderful.

Best chocolate milkshake I've had but the service was not great. Left my mum who has to use a walker while I went to the bathroom and even though there was no other customers and 2 members of staff behind the counter within viewing distance of our table they couldn't bring it to the table my mum had to limp over and collect it.

I adore Hotel Chocolat's coffee and ice-cream, but it's disappointing that during my visits, I consistently had to clean the tables myself due to a shortage of staff members.Parking: You can park outside of the shop.Wheelchair accessibility: The shop isn't huge, but it's wheelchair accessible, making it convenient for all customers.

Today I have decided to give Hotel Chocolat a review based on my recent experience with an order that went wrong and was never addressed.I made an order from Hotel Chocolat before Christmas for a Christmas present which came horribly soiled, the box it came in was completely wet and soaked, but it didn't seem like with water. Royal Mail had bagged it in a plastic bag due to its state.I made a complaint the day I received it which was responded to after Christmas (which I understood) however, instead of dealing with my problem they made an excuse that I used the wrong name in the complaint form (I used my name rather than the name of the recipient of the gift) and therefore I needed to resubmit my complaint. This is despite I used the correct order number and showed dated pictures of the mess that was my present.They did assure me that they will take care in the future to make sure my order is not damaged (which is very little consolidation since I never plan to order from them again).I resent the complaint as they asked, which the automated reply told me I would get a response within 72hrs. It has now been 4 days and no response, so I've come to the conclusion this order problem will not be resolved by Hotel Chocolat and so I am writing this review.I just thought people should know that this is clearly a company who do not care one bit about it's customers.

One of the place to have best hot chocolate. It was not watery like other places. It was rather thick and the perfect flavour of chocolate was just up to the mark. I generally avoid sweet/sugar, hence it was just amazing to enjoy it ?

Hotel Chocolat has the best chocolate shake I have had so far. They have a lot of variety in flavors for both shakes and hot chocolate. The staff are great and friendly. I would highly recommend trying a shake here if you like milkshakes and like to explore different flavors.
