I had my baby shower at Maaya, we did the afternoon tea. The food was amazing and the value for money unbeaten. The service was also very good, staff was friendly and attentive and let us stay for as long as we wanted. They also reserved a little table to the side for us so we could chat more easily. I'll 100% be back to try the main menu as we all had such a nice time. My husband goes here regularly as well and is always really happy with the food.

What a place. Food off the scale and price is shockingly low for what you get. I am now a weekly regular.

I nearly cancelled our reservation at this restaurant after reading both Google and Tripadvisor reviews bitv I am glad that I did not do so. The food and service were very good indeed, contrary to the reviews. I normally do not have a starter, but decided to have the soft crab which was a little disappointing compared to other restaurants where I have eaten it. However, my mains, the Railway curry and sides of bhindi, chana, mushrooms and pilau rice were sensational. Had I not had the starter I would have given the food a 5* rating instead of 4*.The service was also very good, not sure why some reviews were so negative. This restaurant was buzzing and full on a Thursday evening with people still arriving when we left.No symptoms the next day either like some reviews, must have been the Food and Hygiene 5 rating!I will definitely go back there... but not have a starter, and go straight for mains!

DONT GO !!!I went to Maaya for dinner and I had the most unpleasant experience of all the restaurants I have dined at in Milton Keynes. They claim to be serving Indian but it is nowhere near. I had their Special Thali which was a disaster. Only the naan and papad were good. All that came with it were either stale or way off from what you would expect in an Indian cuisine (all the Mains were sweet, when questioned they justify it). I raised my concerns with the waitress who listened to all of it but did nothing further. They just don't seem to care.In short, Sad food, good ambience, customer service at its worst
