I recently visited Pizza Express at Xscape and was absolutely blown away by the exceptional service provided by Celine. From the moment we entered, Celine greeted us with a warm and welcoming smile, instantly making us feel at home. Her knowledge of the menu was impressive, and she offered great recommendations that suited our tastes perfectly.What truly set Celine apart was her attention to detail and her genuine care for our dining experience. She checked on us regularly to ensure we were enjoying our meal and went above and beyond to accommodate our requests. Her friendly and professional demeanor added a special touch to our evening.The delicious food combined with Celine's outstanding service made our visit to Pizza Express unforgettable. It's not just the quality of the food that makes a dining experience remarkable, but also the people who serve it with passion and excellence. We was served by Celine and she went the extra mile to inform us about the menu and different options since I'm very picky, she is an asset to the xscape store. This made the xscape restaurant stand out to us a lot and we will be coming here from now on. She made sure everything is perfect with our meal and was very attentive. We was sat at table 34 . Usually the service etc has been good at all the Pizza Express pizzerias we've visited. This one let it down and I don't understand why.We arrived around 7.30pm for a quick meal, and it was quiet then and only became more so the longer we were there.The waiter/waitress service was acceptable but our meal was spoilt by the kitchen. There were three of us dining, two juniors (11 & 9) and the junior food came but I had to wait some time for mine. How hard can it be in a near empty pizzeria can it be to deliver three covers to the table AT THE SAME TIME?Fortunately this isn't our local establishment so we won't be returning to see if the service improves.I hope you have a better experience, than we did, when you visit

I’ve recently been diagnosed with coeliac, so eating out is still a bit nerve wracking for me. Thankfully, I was greeted at the door by a member of staff (didn’t get her name unfortunately!) who explained all of the gluten-free items and what precautions are taken. For the rest of the night, we were then served by Celine, who was super friendly and did her best to settle my nerves. I was given an allergen matrix and an explanation of how they prepare gluten-free orders. It’s hard not to feel like an inconvenience when dining out with dietary requirements, but Celine made me feel like the opposite, and I couldn’t be more grateful for how welcoming and attentive she was. Thank you Celine! Also, food was great (as usual) and loyalty app made the order even cheaper :)

Place was busy. Not enough staff. We had booked a table, but no table was ready. We were eventually shown to a table that was barely wiped down, was still dirty. It had been set for two people, despite the booking was for four people. We had to ask three times for the additional cuttelry, twice after the food was placed on the table. The food didn't arrive for over 90 minutesa and was overcooked and cold. One person's meal didn't arrive. Told it would be 1 minute, but nothing arrived for another 10 minutes, and even then only once we asked about it yet again. We asked for bottled water three times, but never got it. Two of us managed to get a glass of coke. The other two of the party never got their drinks, despite repeated requests. The whole thing was shambolic. Note - we have been to lots of other Pizza Express outlets and they are notoriously variable in terms of quality of food and service; but this was by far-and-away the worst dining experience of all time.

Was first customers into Pizza Express Xscape Milton Keynes with grandkids at midday for lunch. Starters and drinks served within 10 minutes. We then waited for a further 50 minutes for standard pizzas to arrive whilst later arriving diners were served ahead of us. Very poor service and the food was not up to the normal standard either. Why do Pizza Express restaurants vary so much. Must be poor management that lack adequate leadership and process.

We went there yesterday without a booking and was greeted by a gentleman named Connor. He got us a table for myself, husband and two children.The food was delicious and the service was exceptional. Thank you Connor :-)
I don’t normally write bad reviews about restaurants but the experience at Pizza express Xscape Milton Keynes was so bad I want to warn others going there. There is nothing express about it. I went with my son who has special needs explained to the waitress if it was possible to get the kids meal of pasta with be’chemsl sauce soon, as he was very hungry and tearful. It took them 45 mins to boil pasta and throw abit of cheese on top of it, ??, An hour later the pizzas arrived and my salad was forgotten, was told they would take it off the bill, no replacement offered so I had to remain hungry. Customer services at the worst. Please avoid this place if you can not worth your time or money

You know exactly what you're in for with a pizza express - good food and a decent price. What was different here was exceptional service - a large party booking with little notice was not just easily catered for, but superbly. Charming and accommodating staff who simply couldn't have done more to help. Very pleased!

This is for Pizza Express Milton Keynes Xscape.My boyfriend and I were celebrating our 3 year anniversary today and unfortunately this meal put a damper on our day.Firstly, there was a line out of the door and nobody could seem to get any of the staff’s attention until a staff member came through the door and seated us.Secondly, it took an HOUR to serve us our mains and the pizzas were almost cold. Also people who were seated after us were served before we were.And thirdly, we weren’t checked on once and a staff member who I assume is the manager because she wasn’t wearing the uniform like the rest of the staff members, saw that my boyfriend was looking at her while our dirty plates were stacked (obviously meaning that we either wanted the bill or to look at a dessert menu) and she looked at him, SAW he was looking at her but then walked to another table on the other side of the restaurant and asked if they had finished when they were clearly still eating.Very poorly managed tonight.
