The atmosphere and decor were awesome and the wait staff were super sweet BUT, it took so incredibly long to get our food. Yes, we were a big group, but we had called ahead and were told there was no need for us to preorder. The majority of us ordered simple burgers or sandwiches. And if I'm waiting over an hour to get my burger, I would expect it to be really good. That wasn't the case though. It was not well-done. It was way past well-done to the point of it being remotely juicy. I had really high hopes for this place, but it fell very short.

Large pub and dining rooms with outdoor seating. A carvery is available and some nights have themed menus. Good food and reasonable prices, reasonable service and a wide menu choice.

My husband and I are in Milton Keynes for the Rugby World Cup. We were encouraged by some of the reviews, but completely disappointed by our experience. We ordered the tomato soup, which was very good, however it came with a slice of white sandwich bread. We had ordered the bread basket, which was warm crusty bread and very good as well. It sort of ended there. It took another 30 minutes for our meals to arrive. We had the Beef and Brie salad and the Salmon Caesar salad. While the salmon was good, it was basically just on a pile of lettuce. Parts of the lettuce in the Beef and Brie was old and many of the beef pieces were fatty and tough. We expressed our opinion to the manager and he was polite and asked if he could comp us coffee. In summary, the service was slow and the food ordinary. It's not worth the price and certainly failed as a gastro pub.

I've been there 4 or 5 times with my wife and son, plus with other family and friends and both the service and quality of food has always been excellent. In addition to the bar menu and the restaurant menu, there is also a really good carvery I've been to a few and this is very good indeed. Combined with very reasonable prices The Three Trees is now the local favourite for a quick bite to eat. Looking forward to going along this evening and watching a friend taking part in the Henry VIII Burger Challenge! I have to admit that I'll be sticking to something slightly less calorific! Highly recommended :o)

Been to the Trees a few times now the food is really good and yummy and reasonably priced, the staff are all so cheerful and always go out of there way to help you. Shame they have stopped doing breakfast tho I used to like finishing work (Co-op) and having my Eggs Benedict. Anyway we will still be back. Lesley & Bob

I had heard so many good things about the Three Trees, so i thought it was a good place to go to celebrate my mother's birthday. We arrived and we were seated after a 1 minute wait by a friendly young lady who asked us how we all were. We ordered after receiving our drinks: sister went for the Steak and Eggs, my Dad went for the Carbonara and i plumped fir the Big Plate Carvery. We had to wait 30 minutes before our food was brought to our table, i then went to the carvery area to construct my meal. I chose the Honey Glazed Gammon, roast beef and Turkey and Chorizo Pie along with all the requisite extras. The beef and gammon were both delicious and the pie was also very tasty. On the side i had Sweede and carrot mash, new potatoes with butter, a MASSIVE Yorkshire Pud, crispy parsnips and Roast Potatoes, which tasted anything but roasted. They were soft and mushy and not crispy, as you would expect good roast potato to be. Everything else was very good, including the grave which was nice and rich. My sister found her steak to be very good, but a touch overcooked (she ordered medium but it came out done), my father enjoyed his carbonara but he found the portion for be much too big for him. All in all, i found the restaurant very comfortable with very friendly staff, but I don't think it was worth it food wise.

This place was first class even though it was extremely busy,(Monday Night) Staff were very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this place to anyone give yourself a treat.

This is a fairly large pub which has a lot of space, and says that it does events fairly regularly, but to be honest I've only ever seen karaoke or a dj in there. It's not my sort of pub, a bit to faceless for my taste. I like a pub with a bit of charector and atmosphere and this really doesn't have much.
