Rubbish. You want a music-thumping cocktail bar experience? Go for it. It’s been some years since I went to a Slug and Lettuce and I’ll be honest that I had higher expectations. The sticky floor put me off right away. Two staff doing nothing behind the bar. Geez, they didn’t even look happy to be there. Froze my butt off because the aircon is turned up so high. My overpriced salad was edible but missing ingredients and there wasn’t a soul to tell, and none bothered to check in. "All good?” I guess that isn’t what they do at this place anymore. No one was eating, everyone was drinking a lot and very loudly. At 6:30. That should have been my clue to retreat.
