Lovely food, great atmosphere and fantastic staff. So kind with my elderly mother. The only niggle was the beef wasn't pink which it said it would be on the menu.

Pretty average and overpriced for the quality of food. Our server informed us that the Sunday roast lunch extras had already ran out and that the lamb was dry and tough. So I ordered the chicken roast which was also very dry and underwhelming. The stuffing balls were very bland and artificial tasting. The staff were very good however, and there was a nice atmosphere in the pub.

My Mother felt so special fir her ‘Mother’s Day’ meal at The Swan Inn, staff were amazingly and sincerely kind to us - and giving Mum a free ‘Mother’s Day’ cocktail was a lovely start to our meal. I noticed that every table had the first name of whosoever had booked the table - such a nice touch - but best of all was a Happy Mother’s Day card from the staff. All guests received these welcome gestures, not just us.Most important was the food, which was astounding - innovative presentation of excellent ingredients cooked to perfection.All in all the best restaurant experience for many years.

Food very good, service average, drinks prices ridiculous pint of Stella over £6, really? Had the lunch set menu, some items not available, most hilarious was the fact that out of the dessert options only ONE was available! You can choose a dessert from the main menu, at extra cost! Overall rather disappointed at the lack of choices on offer. But, as I said above, quality food.

This is our local pub so when my Dad turned 80 last week we went for Sunday lunch as a family.We were asked to pre-order, sent several links with different menus due to IT issues.Arrived to be told 2 people couldn’t have their choice of main as they had no more pies.Starters were lovelyMistakes with mains as special instructions were not read.Ran out of vanilla ice creamAnother mistake with one of the dessertsThere were lots of apologies and alternatives offered but on one occasion we felt the lead waitress was passive aggressive with her approach almost making us feel that we were in the wrong for the mistakes that were happening.Also I noticed an eye roll after one discussion with my dad with our waitress.We did get a complimentary something off the bill but all in all our experience could of been so much better.
